Ladies and gentlemen, YOOOUUUR HOUSTON KNICKS!!! Man, this immediately after what was essentially 35 straight years of playoff contention and usually championship contention. I guess all good things must come to an end <sigh> :-( F*ck you, Fertits.
At the very least this guarantees we won't sign him to a stupid extension. Still never understand why in the hell we got him in the first place.
Oladipo had almost zero value because of his desire to only want to be in Miami, and him playing like garbage the Rockets took whatever they could get at the last second
Welcome to Clutchfans. Where everyone complains and yells for weeks on end about not trading away Oladipo, and then when the Rockets finally do for whatever they could they continue to complains and yell. I feel like most of this board was NOT die hard Rockets fans between the Hakeem-Yao or the Yao-Harden eras, and do not understand what that fandom existence is like.
Trading Levert for Oladipo will go down as one of the biggest blunders of the Harden trade. Levert would have had more value, was signed for a longer period of time (and would thus have eliminated the "rental" concerns), and is actually a better player than Oladipo. Stupid, stupid, stupid deal.
I'm not sure if it was possible to **** this up harder than Stone did. That's crazy tbh. Next time let me negotiate the deal, atleast I'll get a bag of chips for him.
I really don't know what you all expected for Oladipo. There was no market for him besides Miami. We shouldn't have traded for him in the first place.
Didn’t expect much so meh, whatever. Yes I am projecting out and it could work out wonderfully but right now, they botched that Harden trade. No players to show for. Are the pick swaps gonna even play out? No Jarrett Allen No Caris LeVert Oladipo for 2 no-use veterans, 2022 pick swap 4 mid-late first round picks Give me Simmons, $30M salary, flaws and all...
