This is what I don't get, all day I've been reading trade Oladipo for anything I don't care what you get back I just want him gone. The Rox trade him, and now all the responses are, trash trash trash...shoulda kept him if this is all you were going to get back. Make up your minds folks.
This must be the trade of the century. Silver should definitely look into this and trying to block it, ESPN is already discussing for a new 30 for 30 on this trade.
So the harden trade ended up being Bradley Olynik 4 picks of them atleast three could be late firsts?
How are we not even getting 2nd round picks? We're basically just trading a 20ppg guy (bad efficiency, i know) with way above average defense for expirings and a PICK SWAP (likely late 1st)? What the **** is that even
Disappointed on the return but not surprised. Oladipo has been rumored to not have much value on the trade market. Him not being much of a difference maker and being apart of a 20 game losing streak didn't help either probably.
Gotta wonder if Stone told Tilman this is the best Miami would offer, and that he was going to turn it down. Then Tilman decides that since our team is so bad, we had to do something and told Stone to pull the trigger. Or maybe even: "Supposing we took that deal; how much money would I save?" I mean, the precedent is there in both cases. Hmm...
any young player, 1st round PICKS? Not this swap and protected **** Stone keeps doing. We basically swapped picks. I am pretty damn sure some team out there was giving up more and Stone just said **** it.
Lollll did I NOT call this? Woj: Sources: Houston Rockets progressing in talks to trade Victor Oladipo
Stone was stoned when doing this...Stone got Watson'd by Riley. Unless this pick swap is somebody elses that is higher, this is terrible.
They honestly should have kept him and bought him out if they were gonna just tank. This is worse. Looks like they don't want to keep tanking. They think they can retool.
