That looks like brabra..seriously..but with glasses to try And look more sophisticated..similiar beany
I hope this is wrong. Stone will do something. Let's hope he can pull off another solid trade for future assets somehow.
I wonder if its currently a stalemate as to which team - Toronto or Houston - will fold first and give up their player for less than they wanted? I don't think the Heat give up Herro, but in a world where perhaps Herro, Duncan, Nunn and Prescious are on the table to net BOTH Lowry and Dipo, and the Heat don't care which assets go to whom, one of HOU and TOR would have to cave first to take the "lesser" package.
I'm not sure Orlando is the best example. They ruined a lot of their rebuild when they traded Oladipo, İlyasova, and Sabonis for Ibaka. They only kept Ibaka for half a season before trading him for Terrence Ross and what ended up being the 25th pick. That's bad management that set them back to the point they are now.
I know things can materialize quickly, but holy **** is this getting close to call. I can’t envision a scenario where Dipo stays, but there’s been nothing.
It’s a quiet time. No trades. No rumors. All silent. I know we are waiting for the Lowry situation for Oladipo, I just find it hard to imagine that’s the only trade we prepped for. But, I guess incase we have to include more, we want to be ready?
I mean, the question really is what can we get now vs a Sign and Trade later. I would think/hope we could swindle more now... I like Stone, but man I wish we would’ve landed Simmons instead of picks plus Dipo. Hell I may rather have LaVert.
Shams: Focus is on future of Lowry; Raptors seriously engaged with Lakers/Heat. Lakers offering package around Schroder, KCP. Miami offering package around Duncan Robinson. Hold up is THT from Lakers and Herro from Heat. Lowry’s preferred spot is Miami Heat.
I hope Lowry goes to LA, leaving Miami as possible destination for dipo. They are more desperate for a move then LA
