If only everyone at the Asian Massage parlors and the King Soopers was armed. They’d all still be alive.

Certainly, creating an environment where everyone is armed and spraying bullets all over the place in the event of a mass shooting would stop a mass shooting. Also, the best way to end drug use in our country is if everyone was carrying drugs.

Texas AG Ken Paxton refuses to release texts, emails sent during pro-Trump rally and Capitol riot
John Tedesco, Lauren McGaughy, Allie Morris,
    Jay Root

Houston Chronicle and Dallas Morning News
    Updated: March 25, 2021 6:21 a.m.

The Texas attorney general’s office is attempting to withhold all messages Ken Paxton sent or received while in Washington for the pro-Donald Trump rally that devolved into a riot at the U.S. Capitol.

On Jan. 6, Paxton spoke at the pro-Trump rally in Washington. Appearing with his wife, state Sen. Angela Paxton, R-McKinney, the attorney general touted his unsuccessful legal effort to overturn the presidential election.

Paxton later falsely blamed the violence on antifa, a left-wing anti-fascist movement, and claimed Trump supporters weren’t responsible for the insurrection.

There are times I wonder what does Ted Cruz think he's in the Senate for? How does he remember history to remember him for? As it is history is going to remember him as the guy who bent over backwards for Trump including objecting to the electors even as Trump supporters rifled through his desk, and accused him of betraying them..

Not sure why he ran in the FIRST place but he's clearly only concerned with trying to run for President now. Branding.

TX is by far, FAR, better than any other state in handling and distributing the Covid vaccine. Great Republican leadership that rings the bell of logic time and time again. Consider yourselves blessed.

That's simply not true, especially when it comes to the elderly. Priorities do matter for those at highest risk. My mom's sisters and brothers have all had both doses before her in other states. She is overdue for her 2nd shot and can't find one anywhere in Houston, Pearland, Clear Lake, Webster, or Pasadena. They cancelled her appt yesterday and now can't even get her a 2nd dose anywhere around here. Hopefully something comes up in the next day or two. She has tried several of the hotlines to no avail. The second dose should be planned and scheduled better for Phase 2 before opening up to everyone if it's this hard to get them 2nd doses already before being overdue.

Georgia didn't even open up their eligibility for those with terminal illnesses until last week. Elderly were top priority here in TX and they have getting vaccinated left and right since Jan. You are blind if you dont think TX is absolutely acing this rollout.

Georgia being worse doesn't make Texas good? The literal data suggests otherwise.

TX has aced this rollout. End of story, put your liberal bias aside and just be glad it's getting done right. Jesus, yall will s*** on anything if a Dem wasn't in charge.

Look at the chart. Listen to what I said. Sure, lots of people got shots, but my 83 year old mother is not one of them, and she is trying desperately. It should NOT have to be this difficult when soooooo many younger people have somehow gotten them. You are probably one of them. Who knows.

A literal map of relative comparisons of percentage of state residents that have taken the vaccine says the complete opposite of your rhetoric.

And who would of thought that the ideology of a party that at every corner says "government bad" has difficulty having their government organize and distribute products and services to its people.

I got my elderly parents taken care of, took nothing more than registering them on the Harris County list, then they were contacted and scheduled shortly thereafter. Sorry you're having so much trouble, but it's not indicative of the TX rollout as a whole.

Some people complain just to complain, you are one of them. TX has handled this brilliantly. Sorry you are blind.

I mean the literal data suggests otherwise. You are using a personal anecdote rather than actually looking at the data relative to other states.

They just always get Priorities wrong, or let the weasels worm their way in first over those at higher risk, no matter what it is.

These maps are pointless when you are counting a VOLUNTARY vaccine. There are people that are choosing not to take it. The shot is available here for those who need/want one, and they can get one quickly. There is no shortage of shots here, there is an entire thread of people sharing the available places that are offering vaccines, now.
