    My gut guess:

    Stone doesn't trade Dipo, Rockets buy him out and he joins the Lakers. :/

    Yeah I know but which contender other than them can make that move with a decent pick to offer? I thought Portland was a good fit, and maybe Denver too. Both seem set. Miami seems to be the obvious fit for Lowry, and that seems to be the better trade now to spend on.... but who knows.

    Utah, Phoenix?? Hornets?.... maybe the Clippers?

    Just hard to see the fit here where most of these teams and hard to see a closet full of assets & matching contracts to make it work.

    Don't ask @Clutch his opinion on this take.

    SOMEONE is going to want help with Dipo as a rental and give up something... the only question is if Stone sees greater value in a potential Sign and Trade scenario. Either way... Dipo is not getting bought out. He's only not getting traded today (if he doesn't) because of the S&T.
