ch just said that Gordon probably ends up in Denver, posting for those who might miss it. Just give a look to the Woj/Dipo thread, he posted more stuff.
This is the best chance he'll get at getting his team to the Finals since Game 7. If Embiid comes back healthy that starting lineup is crazy nice.
It can be done. https://tradenba.com/trades/HBYwr6b-1 Don't forget that Morey also has the Al Horford $8M TPE at his disposal. Don't know if any of that triggers a hard cap though.
Well Philly has 3 tradeable 1st, and young guys like Maxey or Thybulle who they can throw in instead of Poirier. They also could throw in Curry instead of Scott. Philly also has a 8 mill TPE to take on more salary. The pieces are there for a deal
Yeah but he can't combine the TPE with other players, regardless, he can do it with the players/contracts he has.
I know he can't combine the TPE, but he can certainly use it to acquire an additional player in a separate transaction. What I mean by this is that he will lose some depth and can find a player to bring back to the Sixers.
Can people chill with the "Rockets aren't trading Oladipo" noise until AFTER the deadline? Hours left.
And yet the Nets have KD Kyrie and Harden. I'm starting to think Morey has bad luck. How is it that when he finally builds a great team, he's always going up against super team.
There's a wing in Houston that's available though you really can't count on him making intelligent decisions come playoff time, especially in Orlando.
Gotta hand it to Morey though--he will try to compete every year even when a super team is in the way.
Sixers are already ECF favorites with Brooklyn. Their core of Simmons and Embiid aren’t even in their primes yet. If I was Daryl, I would save Maxey, Thybulle, and all those picks for when Beal gets put on the trade market next season. Not sure I’d go all in with a 35 year old PG.
“The Los Angeles Clippers have had trade talks with the Atlanta Hawks on Rajon Rondo, according to Brian Windhorst on ESPN.”
Kyrie/KD are no sure thing this playoffs in regards to their injury history. I know KD is rehabbing that hammy the right way, but it can always come back. Morey needs to stay competitive while Joel is still intact (somewhat).
Patience is not one of Maury's virtues. He will end up with Lowry, mostly because that is where Lowry wants to go.
