Clyde was Mr. Platitudes who barely did any research on the opposing teams. Worrell is getting old and his Texas accent really makes the broadcast sound a little less proffesional but he's been a long time staple of Rockets basketball so I can tolerate it.
Seriously.... I imagine Clyde would show up 15 min late for make up and be like ...." who are we playing against, Phoenix? Oh the Heat. Lets do this."
I have probably spent more hours listening to Bill Worrell than any other person on the planet, even my wife. Since what? 1984, probably 50 games a year every year since then. I think he started with HSE. I saw Mike Newlin on the driving range once. He said "Hi, I'm Mike Newlin" I said I know, I used to watch you on HSE. We laughed, that was a long time ago.
You don't remember players on for TNT Nate Robinson was as talented of a commentator as he is a boxer
I saw that yesterday. Such a great player. It's sad to say that he has limited vision. The rebuild was inevitable as soon as Harden left.
He truly is undoubtedly the worst. He always harped on the Spurs during games and brought virtually no insight.
When Bill Retired he did not mention Clyde in is sign off speech. Also, If I remember correctly, I do not think Clyde was at Bill’s retirement ceremony.
He was literally the worst sports commentator i’ve ever heard. Houston legend? Yes. Sports commentator? No. Hell no.
You're saying the guy who couldn't even do the simple job of remembering the names of players around the league doesn't know much about modern basketball?
