I have to agree Herro not likely, Duncan Robinson on the other hand, expiring contract that becomes pretty expensive to sign in the off-season that's my bet.
Heat trade going down or just a precaution? That Herro is not being protected hopefully puts out the embers of that flame.
I've watched quite a few Miami games this year to: 1) root against the Heat to improve the draft pick I've emotionally resigned myself to 2) try to understand why all of CF likes Tyler Herro so much When I watch Herro, I see Eric Gordon, minus the defense. Herro can shoot the three and flashes some occasional nice moves driving off the dribble. Right now, I would much rather have Eric Gordon. Now I do understand he is young and it would be really cool to have "Eric Gordon with less defense" for ~$2mm/year. However, I do not understand why everyone here is pining over this dude like he is or will become something great.
I understand the fascination with Herro but he's not a fit in our system IMO. And as for him being a #3 guy, not seeing it.
couldnt believe this dude is in my fantasy team too. sucks for me! but yeah, he had a good bubble run and has so far udnerperformed. still young, but being exposed by the day.
Put your bets out there. State what you think will happen and/or what you want to happen. I want the rockets to get Wiseman or the Wolves pick I think they end up trading with the Knicks. Getting 1 first round pick and whomever.
I feel like Aaron Gordon will go to the Celtics and if Lowry is moved he'll go to the Sixers or Heat. If the Sixers get Lowry I feel the Heat will give us Precious and a 1st for Oladipo. If the Heat get Lowry, I predict Vic ends up in NY or Denver. We probably ship House out for something minor too, maybe like a 2nd or a protected 1st from one of the top teams.
I think Lowry and AG will be the first of the big ones. Lowry because I think he's in a situation where, if he asks for a trade, Masai will send him where he wants without really worrying about the return out of good will. For AG, if recent reports are to be believed and the Celtics are prepared to offer Smart, filler and 2 1sts for AG with a free Fournier then I don't see how that can be trumped. Recent chatter (check out the last Mismatch pod, bonus points if you make it to the point where Vernon says that the Rockets owner is a buffoon) says that the Boston locker room is toxic right now and Danny is tired of being labeled as gun shy so that overpay just might happen. Also, I think we'll be one of the later actors which is about right for what we have. The guys we're trading our nobody's first option but once those big dominoes fall, the losers might get desperate and overpay. Patience is key here.
I’m talking about the poor shooting lines. However, Ego has definitely been #3 option for us multiple times.
His primary role is 6th man. When team decimated with injuries, he has held that particular role but to label him as team's 3rd option is disingenuous. EGo has also been our 1st option for the Rockets in a game or 2. No one has ever claimed his role is the 1st option.
