Am I the only one that assumes that these girls were probably instahoes (for lack of a better term), and Watson assumed he was paying them essentially as an escort under the guise of a "massage?"

Not that this is right, but many athletes do similar, they just don't use the massage as the pretense. They get right down to business.

Most of the time, these girls know what they are getting paid for. It's a sad fact of social media culture.

Except my wife only went part-time so our son wasn't in full-time day care and because it was exhausting having two full-time parents with a baby/toddler at home. One day maybe whatever subservient woman who's unlucky enough to be dating you (she inevitably worships you and only wears dresses and aprons from the '50s) will allow you to make a child with her, and you'll know how hard being a parent is. While my wife loves being home with our son more, she misses working full-time and would go back in a heartbeat if he wouldn't have to be in full-time day care during a pandemic.

So lets think about this.

Let's say that Watson really believed that he was paying these women for a massage believing that he would get sex as well.

So one of the women tell him to stop, he doesn't stop and he keeps pushing. Ultimately the woman tells him he crossed a line and that she is a professional. So if that was the case, what would your response be? Would you think that maybe these or at least some of these women are actually giving massages and not interested in rubbing your but hole or having your penis rubbed against them?.......... or would you just keep doing the same thing to over a dozen women?

The fact that he "believed" they were prostitutes has really gone out the window when the sheer number of allegations are in double digits. He has essentially been put on notice..... not to mention that he could have asked them on the phone before the massage, and he didn't .... he waited until the massage started and was very assertive and persistent if you believe what these women are saying.

There is no misunderstanding here. Either these women are all lying, or Watson knew full well he was committing sexual assault and choose to keep on doing it.

This is a different era, using the background or personal history of the "victims"/accusers will not work and most likely will backfire in any cases.

No, he has "goods" or he wouldn't file the cases, and the sheer number of cases. Is it enough to win large civil verdicts? I don't know, and truthfully neither does he or Rusty Hardin. So far neither side is showing their cards.

Oh make no mistake, he IS an ambulance chaser. ALL successful civil trial attorney's are. He just happens to be incredibly good at it..... and Hardin isn't any different, he has represented people he knew were guilty scumbags. This is is all about ego, reputation and money for both attorneys.

At least my assumptions are based on conversations with my cousin who spent a few years in vice investigating online and brick and mortar masseuses. There are code words / provocative dress in these online ads that "customers" like Watson look for before contacting these providers because they indicate elicit services are offered. The same code words / manner of dress alert Vice to conduct stings.

There's no online menu of course. Once a customer gets there, activities allowed may be self service only, handjob, full service or some freak **** like is alleged against Watson. Watson isn't likely going to answer an ad with a business logo uniformed woman that states therapeutic only massage in bold letters in her ad. Look at the pic that was posted in this thread of a masseuse Watson went to. That's what a sex addict like Watson is looking for. These masseuses have lines drawn in the sand of what they will and won't do but the bottom line any of the services I listed are illegal. If they post provocative ads then they encourage scumbag clients like Watson to solicit their services. Watson likely either crossed the unwritten boundary each individual masseuse set and pressed her or gave her a cop vibe. My cousin said that cops do the same thing when investigating and sometimes the masseuse changes course.

I hope Watson does get suspended or arrested if it's proven he committed a crime. But don't be naive enough to think Hardin isn't going to chew up many of these women by flipping out an ad of theirs with their t*** hanging out of a 5 sizes too small bikini talking about making their client leave "happy". That's a fine line to walk because it makes Watson look a sex addict which it appears he is.
