I'd argue the Harden simps are worse....at least nearly all of the Lin fans went away once he was gone. Harden's simps are still here pretending to be Rockets fans.
Harden was actually a talented player with HOF potential. Lin wasn't even in the same zipcode let alone ball park.
Lin was not a good basketball player overall, him leaving made the team better. Harden was one of the best players to ever play, and just passed Larry Bird in total points at just age 31. Him leaving made this the worst Rockets team I have seen in my lifetime. If you hate on Harden's impact and are happy to see the team in this shape, you are not a Rockets fan.
Why is this a question? It is not even close. Harden can play basketball, Linfans barely even know what basketball is.
Harden was and is an MVP superstar player, who was the franchise cornerstone for 8 years. Lin was a flash in the pan who played here for a year, threw up some air balls and turnovers in the playoffs, and then vanished. This is a stupid comparison.
Actually being a Rockets fan. That is a fan of the franchise, not merely a fan of certain players. That's not to say that there's anything inherently wrong with people who are merely fans of individual players....it just means they can't really claim to be fans of the franchise when that doesn't accurately reflect their fandom.
that wasn't the question. Harden without question is 2 million times the the player Lin is/was. Harden fans like to justify how annoying they are because Harden is an amazing player and he was an all time Houston GREAT Rocket.
LIn only fans tend to stay in one thread and keep to themselves while others go in there to annoy them. Because Harden was/is such a great player, Harden fans think they can permeate the rest of the GARM with their "isn't this what you wanted?" bullsh*t.
