It never ceases to amaze me how stupid men get when their d**ks are involved.

Even if you operate under the assumption that the sexual assaults allegations are untrue, there's basically no argument that he didn't behave highly inappropriately with this many people coming forward. Star athletes have a target on their backs when it comes to women, and to still act this way in the culture of today is the height of stupidity when he has so much to lose.

The only surprise is that it took this long for a lawyer to get a hold of this thread that they could start pulling.

I think there is also a middle ground scenario where Watson didn't know what he was doing was wrong. He is, after all, a 25-year old who is accustomed to receiving attention from women... and it may not occur to him that asking for sexual favors from a masseuse is wrong... especially if the masseuse has a very flirty/warm approach which could come across as showing interest. He's probably thinking that if the masseuse is getting paid to travel, is chosen largely by looks and without a prior knowledge of one another or referral... then she knows what's up. Surely these women aren't so naive as to think that the possibility of "extras" wasn't a possibility. And now the women smell a payday... so it turns into a money hustle.

Overall, very bad judgement was exercised by Watson and it is going to cost him big time. Wealthy and/or famous men have to be very careful when sowing their wild oats.

Agreed, but just goes to show you that all forms of addiction... whether its booze, drugs, painkillers, prostitutes, stirppers... etc, can afflict anybody regardless of their profession/status.

Right now, presuming he did not sexually assault women who fit the description of sex workers, he still likely has a problem/pattern with this sort of behavior that he will eventually need to seek help for. If he did assault somebody, that's a whole different ballgame.

Celebrities do have some degree of feeling "invincible" when it comes to these sorts of issues... or at least that's what the company line is after they admit to the problem. I would shudder to see what James Harden's lifetime expenditures on what he needs to keep him excited is...

    And you claimed no bias.

Now this woman is lie as opposed to the others, because?

    No, not necessarily.

I'm sure Cosby and Weinstein didn't rape every woman they came into contact with.....doesn't mean they didn't rape a ton of them.

Same goes for Watson, just because he might not have sexually assaulted or sexually harassed EVERY woman who gave him a massage doesn't mean anything about the dozens he did that to.

It was a joke. As in how could you not get aroused looking at her.
Calm down, not everything has to be so serious.

It’s really starting to sound like he’s a predator.
That first one is pretty bad.

    Yeah sure it was.

I can see how calling her a lier is joking that she is attractive.

    Makes perfect sense

    If you actually believe it.

Which you seem to take at face value for some reason?

Maybe comprehension isn’t a strong suit for you, but your interpretation has no bearing on the intent of my post.
    Don’t like it, move around.
    Reading takes context. Learn it

So you support a potential rapist, good to know. Good character you got there.

Unlike you I don't have a dog in this fight and have said Watson is not clean in all of this.

I support the right of every individual to thought of as innocent till proven guilty, unlike you.

Maybe stop trying to make unfunny jokes or stop trying to cover up your bias by saying it was a joke.

The context was that you said she was bought off without knowing anything about her.

You know that 3 letter acronym “lol”? Most people know that to be seen as a joke.
    Again context.
You keep making assumptions based off of text, that says more about your own character than mine. When your character is flawed you will interpret text in a way that fits your character.
I’m simply taking the info in and stating an opinion. I’ve said multiple times I didn’t think Watson was capable of this, I’ve said multiple times that there are only two options of truth 1. He’s a predator or 2. It’s a cash grab.
The only bias here is you injecting your interpretation-wrongly-of my posts.

Not saying I do or don't, but just how it's written sounds so unbelievable, like bad fantasy fiction. Victim perfectly naive & polite, assailant over the top aggressive, all actions and dialogue so awkward They are almost nonsensical... Feels like I'm reading a very bad writer's idea of a sexual assault, in a throwaway crime novel.

Yeah it did sound very opening statement in a trial or like a bad screenplay.

None of this seems to be done by a top notch attorney.
