I really wanted KPJr. to go all the way to the end of Gleague and get that under his belt. It would have been good for comtaderie if all our Gleaguers won that whole thing... which we were definitely on our way to winning. Oh well.

Cade is definitely top 5, but I've watched a lot of OK State games and he doesn't regularly impose his will in the college game so I'm not understanding why he's a consensus number 1 among most of the talking heads? o_O

but yeah, not a winner because of a game in the NCAA tournament

Which one of these guys is the best pure scorer? That's what the Rockets need.

Knock on LeBron in first few years with Cavs, as he entered the league, was that he was too unselfish. Passed the ball too much as he tried to get his teammates involved.

With Cade Cunningham one can see he tries to get his teammates involved in the first half of games, but takes over more in the second half. Problem Is his teammates are lame.

Can you imagine an NBA team saying they passed on LeBron because he was too unselfish. Amazing.

I heard a few people talk about Cade saying "he isn't a killer/dog, he doesn't always play hard, etc...". So my first time watching him was last night and the negative things they said are true. No hustle plays, half ass defense, most of the time on offense if he didn't have the ball he wasn't even visible on the screen.

I personally don't want a player that don't play all out at both ends of the floor. If he doesn't do it on the college level, what will happen when he gets paid? But this was my very first game I saw him play, but the knock some people have on him was glaring last night.

that's the one thing about college basketball that is hard to fully judge.

The court seems so compressed. The rest of the players are a level below the top tier. The game is slower. And following coaches orders is obviously more important.

The knock on Cade is real. But Grayson Allen was a guy you couldn't not see in college. KAT, Embiid, Booker, Edwards, etc, etc ... so so so many guys in college, especially freshman, no longer "DOMINATE" as the obvious, can't miss, 30 ppg players.

That's one area where its easier to evaluate g-league guys.

College players have to play coach system ball and it hides there talents even more. G-league players can do whatever they want and they already have a contract

Yeah, that's why drafts are full of surprises, both good and bad. And I think that's also why Morey pretty much stayed away from the draft, using picks as trade assets rather than actually drafting players as building blocks.

I don't follow college ball much these days. So I don't know which of these guys I want. I'd take intelligence and work ethics over athleticism any day. Not saying that physical attributes aren't important. They are obviously important at this level. But we've seen too many physical freaks who wasted their talents because they were too lazy or too dumb to improve their games.

A guy I’m interested in (especially if we are top 4 , but not #1) is Scottie Barnes .

looks like a great physical profile and maybe the most upside in the draft outside of Cunningham .

    cons , a bit old.

Obviously you go BPA at whatever slot you are at , but I still prefer to find bigger guys vs guards .

Issa hell no. Barnes is a goofy player like Dwight and has confidence like Oladipo with the skillset of a lesser Montrezl Harrell

    Jalen Green: 15 games 17.9 pts .461 FG .365 3PT .829 FT 4rebs and 2.8 ast .613 TS% .537 eFG%
    Playoffs: 1 game 30 pts .550 FG .300 3PT .571 FT 5 rebs 7.0 assist

A bunch of fastbreak dunks and alley oop finishes, but there are some good clips of his off dribble/motion shooting, and body control around the rim.

I think rn, James Bouknight has the more advanced and creative skills, he's a better scorer in a half court setting. But Green has the higher ceiling.

KPJr who currently has everyone on his nuts didn’t even start for his college team and averaged a whopping 10, 4, and 1

there is zero spacing in college basketball, and like u said, players have to run whatever system the coach has because they have all the power

    Cade’s team sucks

Lets hope the rockets draft Cade and Suggs at the same time. Rockets should throw the house at the #5 pick. I mean get as many draft picks as you can top 20. Got to rebuild this team by the draft now. Nobody coming to this **** show.

I never got to see him play in his prime, but watching Mobley reminds me of the way older guys talk about watching Ralph Sampson

Body obviously reminds of Bosh, but game is more like a 7ft guard
Ralph / Garnett / AD hybrid unicorn
I'll take that to build around
