I have so many questions about this:

He was not hiding his proclivities. (he showed up to work with a literal ****ing Hitler mustache)

He was not kicked out of the Army Reserve.

He was allowed to talk his **** to many (the article says ~40) fellow servicemen.

He was allowed to have a (low-level) security clearance.

He was allowed to be on the security detail for a massive Navy ammunition depot.

 

now thats a protester Trump would be proud of

Regardless of where you stand on if they were let in or not to some degree, which they clearly were by the fact that they didn't add adequate security... on purpose... via decisions from higher levels. This was all a stunt. To allow it to happen in order to paint Americans as terrorists. Specifically those who are not supporting the Democrats. Yes this was all allowed to happen. This is what is called whitewashing. I've literally with my own eyes seen Facebook messages from far right dudes organizing the capital takeover.... WITH TRUMP MESSAGING THEM directly from Twitter instant messages of encouragement. Calling them Patriots after they told him they were going to take the capital. This was not some underground thing. Everyone knew the plan was and wouldn't shut up about it. The plan was to go to the Capital, over run it, stop the counting of the votes, and allow for the House to use parliamentary rules to vote Trump back in via the House. Most of this people don't know the actual rules that were supposed to be used to "Stop the Steal" but they all knew there was a plan that involved stopping the Senate certification, and the House along with Trump being able to take back the election if only they could stop the count.

A post like this is why I highly doubt you are even in America much less Texas. You would know that you don't need to lie about this crap. Everyone here in Texas knows someone in far right circles, and knows what the deal was and is. We know they are mostly normal people we are all friends with who are just looking for community in the wrong places, and are just pissed off about societal changes, and instead of buying a Miata their mid life crisis is buying guns, and dicking around in the woods with their other far right friends they met on Facebook. The insurrection was just another Facebook meet up, but one where the loyalist of the loyal were willing to buy a plane ticket, and put in the effort to take it to that level.

BUT THEY ALL KNEW IT, AND THEY ALL WOULDN'T SHUT UP ABOUT IT.

Stop trying to whitewash January 6th. It just makes you look like someone talking about far right American politics from Thailand.

 

One of the key things my far right friend (noted above) said to me after the riot was:

"Wasn't it about time though that we sent them a message that we've had enough, and don't F with us anymore".

This on it's face is a vague statement to make, but when you contextually look at how the far right planned this event and how they organize with a political purpose, it makes a whole lot of sense. People in America from all walk of life are holding this resentment towards DC. It's not even a Democrat vs Republican thing. Men of a certain age and color and background are also highly needing community, and an outlet. The intersection of all these things is how a Facebook community can take off like this, and organize events like this.

Where January 6th got out of hand is where AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL (Aka Trump himself) directly or indirectly told them... hey you can actually do this, and help me overthrow the government, and be legends in your community. Normally these communities are just Dicking in the Woods so to speak. What made this different is a Park Ranger wasn't telling them to turn their music down at 12AM. The sitting President of the United States, and almost every Republican official was telling them to Turn it Up... and at the Capital this time.
