Boston would trump that easily. If we really want Gordan this could be the only way. https://tradenba.com/trades/JVUwVPmXO
Wall is basically Westbrook 2.0 but with slightly less infuriating plays and less great plays. We need someone that knows how to use Christian Wood to the fullest in the PnR game like a James Harden. Closest we have to that is KPJ, and Wall’s ball hogging ass is front of him in the depth chart. I’d say to trade Wall now, considering he’s injury prone, and when he’s healthy he’s not adding as much, simply shooting bricks. That last play was terrible. We need a guard that can run the PnR, and feed Wood.
Rafael Stone has his work cut out for him. Oladipo we can trade; the return will be okay, we should get a first or a player worthy of a middling first. Wall with that contract? I wish Toronto would three-way us to get Lowry to Miami, as long as we mainly wind up with expiring and scraps. Wall on this team does not belong. His salary is making him think he has to do everything; but in that, “everything” excludes the important thing: winning. And winning is not much on the menu these days. So, good for the tank, bad for other players.
Neither Burks nor Noel fit Magic mandate for young talent, below are better win-win options IMO. https://tradenba.com/trades/Yi3TnDo1W PHI: Victor Oladipo, Ben McLemore ORL: Danny Green, Tyrese Maxey + 76ers FRP HOU: Aaron Gordon, Matisse Thybulle https://tradenba.com/trades/qdMLvb6IQ NYK: Oladipo BKN: Alec Burks, Gary Clark + Rox SRP ORL: Knox, Dinwiddie, Rivers, BMac + Pistons FRP HOU: AG, Bamba, Ntilikina + Mavs FRP https://tradenba.com/trades/XHtfE7wMC DET: Oladipo, House, Sterling Brown ORL: Saddiq Bey, Mason Plumlee, Delon Wright, Ben McLemore + Blazers FRP HOU: AG, Bamba, Josh Jackson + protection removed from Pistons FRP
https://tradenba.com/trades/fsYi-1Ch7 After reading the Athletic article. We all know about the restrictions on the Detroit pick so this is them agreeing to drop the protections Rockets in: Grant, Snell, Dunn Rockets out: Dipo, Exum, Detroit 1st, Bucks 1st Pistons in: Collins, Exum Pistons out: Grant, Dombouya Hawks in: Oladipo, Dombouya, Detroit 1st, Bucks 1st Hawks out: Collins, Dunn, Snell
Love this trade for Rockets, think it also works for Pistons. Hawks get 2 FRP, question is will Stone give up that many FRP to make this happen? 6'5 Porter 6'4 Wall 6'4 Tate 6'7 Jerami 6'10 Wood
Trading for Grant is such a stupid move IMO. if you didn’t trade for Simmons, there is zero reason to trade for Grant, who is older, less talented, and also stuck with a multi-year contract, AND we are to throw in a first round pick at least to make that work. It’s a terribly inconsistent subsequent move. I want none of that.
People who price in the Rockets drafting Cunningham with certainty is destined for a rude awakening. I have a piece of advice for you. Think and operate as if we are getting the 18th pick. It makes life easier.
If we going trade away multiple first round picks, wall better be involved.that’s the only way I entertain that type of trade scenario
