Might as well group these guys in one thread. I'll start with Abbott. Voter fraud is obscure compared to all the murders around our state, but suppressing voters and making guns easier for criminals and crazies to get is your focus. You Texas Republicans all need voted out. The sooner the better!

Did Biden tout no masks, no social distancing, and injecting bleach? Even if Trump had not lied about Covid or gathered masses of mask free Covid spreaders at rallies for months, did he make it a peaceful transition? Who's lying Dan? Again this is all pure deflection. As other Rightwing sources have claimed that Biden's policies aren't different from Trump's. The border isn't open. The Biden Administration is turning people away except for unaccompanied minor and those are being held in custody. While that is a problem that needs to be addressed it's not the problem that Abbott, Paxton and others TX Republicans are claiming. It's obvious to me that they are deflecting from the terrible job that they have done on the deep freeze, the terrible job they have done on COVID-19, and from Paxton's legal troubles.
Republicans just want people to believe Democrats want to seize every gun in America. That's simply not true. There does need to be a better way to ensure more guns don't get into the hands of mentally ill, criminals, felons, and kids.
I'm trying to think of a prominent Texas Republican that is not a total national embarrassment, and I'm coming up empty.

He said the rioters weren't Trump supporters, along with the guy who made the tweet. From the very beginning that's what Republicans like Paxton did, but we saw how that ended up. Trump supporters were in mass.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson was ok compared to other Republicans. She voted the party line but she tended to work with other members of the Texas delegation (including Democrats) to pass priorities. She certainly was a hell of a lot better than Ted Cruz who doesn't really consider passing legislation as one of his duties as a Senator.
