Have a great friend from Oregon who is trying to defend this flat-top dude.

I'd like to do a Billy Joel year-by-year beat down of who I'd prefer on the Dream Team than Mullen. Or any Chris. All Chris's sucked in 92.

Just for the record, if I'm remembering correctly, Fatty has now expressed his appreciation for both "We Built This City" and "We Didn't Start the Fire", easily 2 of the worst mainstream songs ever recorded.

To put it in his terms: Billy Joel is the Jack in the Box of pop music: was ok back in the day, but for 30+ years has just been a bland, bloated clownish shell of his former self.

JitB used to be good, ultimate cheeseburger was a late night go-to for many years next door to @Ziggy inside the loop. Had one for the first time in a long time a couple of years ago and it was just terrible, quality-wise.

When? Back in the day when the burgers were good, or recently when the burger was bad?

I don't mind eating people as long as they taste good.

Bad karma for firing his longtime drummer (and band) and screwing him out of his royalties.

    more like 40+ years.

the stranger still kicks ass though!

i was in 9th grade when we didnt start the fire came out and my u.s. history teacher printed out the lyrics and made us write a report on every single thing he mentioned in that song. it had to be like 1/2 a page and we had to find an image to go with it. it was like a 6 week project and this was in 1989, long before the internet. it was genius teaching in that he didnt have to do anything.

Chris Mullin had game as does the Sourdough Jack.

I'd listen to Billy Idol long before Joel.

I've always viewed Chris Mullin as sort of a poor-man's Larry Bird. Run TMC was a pretty cool nickname though.
