He probably does but then is stuck with Wall and Dipo who are both iso players. The best we looked was that early game against the Spurs where Mason Jones went off and we actually played our young guys, they passed the ball around a lot and we had energy.
5-14 would show some coaching talent ..... 0-19 no coaching talent. Tank or no tank, a NBA coaching staff must do better than 0-19!!!!!!! You and I can get a 0-19 record....expect more out of the professionals.
Hes just going through the tank motions this season. By this time next season he will be up for coach of the year.
why does this matter at all? Whether Silas wants to win or not is irrelevant as the FO is trying to lose. If we had any intention of keeping more than 3 players next year maybe I’d buy the “culture” thing but who cares if the entire point is to be as bad as possible and completely rebuild? The idea that folks are even trying to make some sort of evaluation this season is hilarious. His bosses are literally preventing him from winning and y’all want to evaluate his performance on that exact criteria? Lol.
The only sure thing in the universe right now is the Rockets losing streak. My personal meter points more to Silas the longer this losing streak continues. Blaming the players only gets you so far.
Wall was not considered an iso heavy player before coming to Houston. One of the things that excited Wall with his trade to Rockets was the opportunity to play more iso.

He gets zero respect and does nothing about it. He’s wayyyy over his head in this role and it painfully shows loss after loss after loss.
As an NBA head coach, he could adjust his gameplan to fit the talent he puts on the floor. Oh wait a minute....we’ve seen his halftime adjustments on a nightly basis....disregard the prior comment.
