    For the people who have automobiles, it's a scary thought that some is out for your possessions

    If someone went after a 99er's Bentley, it would suck for him
    but since the majority of the D&D either hitch hikes or rides a skateboard to 7-11, it won't matter

    When I had an 82 Corvette I actually went through great lengths to REMOVE the smog stuff. The 99'ers trash is China's treasures.

    It's not really China though, there's a huge black market for the the ridiculously valuable metals in the converters (see otto's video). Need to start tracking the sale of them (recording ID of the seller and stamping some sort of unique VIN type number on them).

    It's been happening for a while. My pilot cousin has had 3 of them stolen off his Dodge truck in the DFW employee parking lot over the past 5 years or so, buddy in Houston had his ganked overnight from his "gated" condo complex in the energy corridor a couple of years ago.
