Oladipo to the Knicks for the DAL FRP+Knox package is fair. (I would also try to get the DET 2nd out of NYK).

Rockets then could be in position to go after Aaron Gordon.

Aaron Gordon, much like Christian Wood, have no place on this team.

Anybody check on that chatty Hawks insider lately?

I really really don't like Knox but Knox + Dal 1st would be a home run for Oladipo. Mil, Dal, and Por picks together might just be enough to trade into late lottery.

I'm not sure if a late lottery pick provides you a better chance to get a good player than 3 picks late in the draft.

    Any data on that?

I don't know either but I know of at least one time when three middle 1st Round picks provided a lesser player than one that went in the 2nd round.

I'd be interested in dropping Kevin Knox in the GLeague for a little while. Get him dropping 30 down there for a bit and then bring him up.

Oladipo to Dallas for James Johnson (expiring), and Josh Green works for me.

    Green is an intriguing prospect.

Easy Peasy IF you are the Rockets.

    3 team trade with Knicks.

Magic want young player? Check (Knox)

Magic want FRP? Check (Pistons or Knicks FRP)

Magic want a PG too? Check (choice between Agustin or Rivers)

Dipo goes to NY and send AG to Houston.

Edit: Hell, its Friday and feeling generous - Magic can have 3ball ace Ben McLemore too.

D-Rock this is not the Aaron Gordon thread.

we are in between phases because a Big Dog left us with big disappointment but I won't let your AG pipe dreams tarnish this beautiful wasteland.

    Just going to say @D-rock
    NY: Oladipo (HOU)
ORL: Knox (NY) + Rivers (NY) wife just had their child and lives in ORL IIRC - Exum (HOU) + lower of DAL / POR 2021 FRP
HOU: AGawd (ORL) + higher of DAL / POR 2021 FRP (possibly top 10 protected)

There was also the time the Rockets traded 3 late first round picks for a high first round pick. That trade ended up being Richard Jefferson and Jason Collins for Eddie Griffin. Ouch.

The Rockets passed up on Zach Randolph, Richard Jefferson and Tony Parker with those 3 picks.

In fairness, Griffin had huge potential but desperately needed help with his mental state. If it weren't for him, my name would be like Stichardtayto
