saw him a few times last season and the biggest aspect i came away with is he's annoyingly cocky for a scrub
Good pick up.... I never understood the abjection to taking flyers on guys like this. Low risk, high reward.
He's a Houston Rocket now; his outside shot is about to go south faster than the moving van carrying his furniture.
Oh lord. Smh What has this world come to? You can’t joke about anything anymore. Somebody always has to come to the rescue. Edit: You know what I’m sorry. I don’t want to get “cancelled.” That’s what happens to you in 2021. I’ll go back to making jokes about Harden being fat and Deshaun Watson having masseuse fetish p*rn on his phone. Hopefully fat people and people with p*rn addictions don’t get offended by that.
Bucks fans were saying that Wilson couldn't get any time on the court because they went with Ante's brother. He needs a change of scenery. He has some multi-skill potential of a player like Lamar Odom. After looking at vids, he is a smooth dribbler in transition and around the bucket, good rebounder, has range to 3 point line, and decent passer. He needs some minutes to develop and I expect to see him get some. He has upside and at 6'10.5" with a 7'3" wingspan he is a unicorn PF this team is lacking. He is not as soft as the Porter on Denver Nuggets.
Forgot to mention, he looks to me to be a better fit for the Rox 5 out system, rather than the Bucks system. He has similar skills to Wood, just needs playing time in our system. Overall good prospect for our system.
I hope you are right, but even his agent wouldn't go that far. No offense intended. Please don't misunderstand me.
I like his agility, ball handling, and shot for his size but he seems to be a terrible finisher at the rim. In a lot of the highlights in this thread he goes out of his way to avoid contact. It also seems like he's a poor jumper which is surprising given his otherwise fluid athleticism. I saw someone describe him as a lesser Terrence Jones which seems about right.
No worries. I did not even know who he was until yesterday. I am just saying we wanted a prospect for Tucker and this guy is that. He was drafted 17 in first round. He has the skills. He needs the opportunity and to put in work and mesh with our 5 out style of play.
