    Why in the heck did the texans feel the need to trade for Izzo? He would have been a sure cut by the Pats as the fifth TE on that team (just signed Jonnu and Henry and used high draft picks on Asiago and Keane). Simply wasting a pick, even a 7th round pick.

    Well, because the Texans suck. If he was cut he could go to any team. If anyone else wanted him why come here? By trading a 7th round pick you get the guy for sure....
