My xbox was acting drunk last night. The home screen said no and the settings indicated that it was connected but was not able to load any games. Was able to use youtube but was signed out of my youtube account and was not able to sign back in. When I tested the connection in the setting menu it said it was "all good." I disconnected it in the setting menu and then the home screen said yes, was able to use youtube where it signed me in automatically, and was able to load games but not play.

 

Good on @Clutch City1993 for providing the link, good info. It is too bad that the default internal really isn't much space. FWIW though I read that somewhere around summer they're going to essentially work on certifying particular drives that would function correctly as internal replacements (or I guess expansions?). Personally I'm going to suck it up and wait for that. Even though PS4 games can run off external, I see some pretty steep differences in load times running them off the internal that I wouldn't want to lose.

I got a PS5 coming in today, it was part of a bundle (Spiderman and 2 controllers, etc)

Can I return this Spider Man game at say Target, Walmart or Best Buy so I can get credit for another game?

 

Are you sure it is going to be a physical copy and not a code for a digital download?

 

I've seen mixed responses. Some people said they were able to exchange it at Gamestop others have said GameStop won't accept it. Where did you get the bundle from?

 

Took it to Walmart just now and they just wanted to open the game, saw it had the disc and let me get another game.

 

Overall, I'm really happy I got the Xbox series X.
Everything runs great, no issues , no bugs.

I got the Game Pass so Skyrim is running at toasty 60 fps.
Plus I got OLED, so auto HDR is making it looking sparkly

I don't know, the autoHDR is the function you can switch on your settings when you play older games.

the HDR only matters if you have a real nice display, the cheap LCDs can accept HDR but won't show you the full effect.

 

Remember I have the LG you recommended on here. I should get a ps5 soonish. Probably going to wait until a free games comes with it. I dangle the ps5 in front my son as incentive to get good grades haha

 

I bought a CX a month ago.

I definitely miss the eye blinding brightness of my previous Sony x950G.... but I'm digging the true blacks.

 

the PS5 has HDR for sure, but for older games, i'll leave that up to the Sony people here to tell you.
The new PS5 games have HDR for sure.

 

I'm not even sure what autoHDR is, lulz. Games/movies/content is either HDR or it isn't.

 

Xbox will enable HDR for games that don’t have it originally aka old games.

 

Walmart let you exchange an opened game for a brand-new, sealed game? What kind of business practice is that? lmao.

Most of the time, these bundled-with-console games have a "not for resale" where the UPC barcode should be, so you got really lucky.
