Lol remember when Folks were like the next draft is going to be deep!! Now the same ones are like 2023 is when it’s deep!! and the classic who knows if Giannis will still be with the bucks mental hoops to try and overrate a mediocre move
Pretty poor. Augustin was a pretty solid point guard, but it's at least 10 years too late to trade for him. The other DJ is in his fourth season (prime of life, make or break in the NBA) and has managed 104 minutes of burn in 40 games with a total, this season, of 43 points and 25 rebounds. His salary is over 4.5 M, he's becoming a restricted free agent and the qualifying offer is going to be 6.5 M. We're even losing 3 M in salary. Well, half of that, I suppose. Hey, K.J., they've been paying this guy $100,000 per rebound He shoots 37% from the field and 50% from the free throw line. Sample size is pretty small. I don't think the pick swap is favorable, but it could turn out to be.
This is a way bigger haul than i expected. This is way more than a second round pick, as most people thought. Who knows if Giannis is still in Milwaukee in 2023. We could have a steal here.
Am I the only one that confuses Daniel Gibson with DJ Augustin? Lol Both very short pg, both played at u of Texas, both great 3pt shooters, only a couple yrs apart geez
We just got a 2021 first rounder. Granted, at the moment we only moved up about 9 spots. But that ain’t nothin’.
No it's not common sense. PJ is a 35 year old player. Maybe you get a better deal, maybe you don't. I have a hard time believing we get that much of a better deal.
Context YOLO, get some! Or are we just go going full troll these days, eh? Are you calling BimaThug one of these "folks"? Please elaborate on that.
PJ was 2nd in WAR for us in last years playoffs. You better deal by trading him Before the season starts
We traded the Bucks 2 of the worst players in the NBA and actually got things back on top of 2 players who are both better than the guys we gave them.....how is that not amazing?
While Tucker still has particular (though declining) skills that can help contending teams, there’s only so much you can get back for a 35-year-old role player.
Rockets trade the Bucks 2022 pick for their unprotected 2023 pick AND they flip their second this year for Milwaukee's first this year... That's a huge win.
Actually not, PJ is a great pickup for them. Fits very well. Augustine is nothing but a backup nothing special at all. It actually sucks for him going from a contendor to a sorry ass team. Wilson flat out sucks
Considering we all thought PJ was going to get us 2 second rounders, this is a really good haul. I never thought we'd get a real prospect in return for PJ, and an additional first is a total steal. I think its a win-win for both sides as I think PJ will fit in really well with the Bucks.
Player analysis from the likes of you typically are the opposite so the bucks should feel great. Your track record speaks for itself on players you drool over
