That is fantastic value. Also being able to maneuver that 2022 pick to 2023 UNPROTECTED IS AWESOME!

Sweet. DJ went to both my college and high school.
not expecting much. Seems like a fair return for Tucker. Roll the dice on next years Bucks team.

we might have done a lot better if we did a complete overhaul all early in the offseason. But we didn’t. Stone wasn’t even the GM yet.

that said I don’t think the return would have been exponentially better. Mm

you guys are way overrating PJ Tucker.

    Dream scenario...
    Get Cade Cunningham at #1
Use Bucks 1st + Blazers 1st to move up to get Corey Kispert at say #9 or #10.

    Decent start...
    KPJ
    Cade (40% three point shooter)
    Kispert (43% three point shooter)
    Free Agent Forward

I would like it if the Milwaukee pick turned into Quentin Grimes. Could replace Gerald Green as the Homer Hero.

It’s common sense, do you think his trade value was raised by him playing with us this year?

This is a very strong return for Tucker. We essentially get another 1st round pick this yr in a deep draft, for our 2nd rounder, and we swap MIL late first next yr for their unprotected 1st in 2023. Great haul for a 35 yr old player on an expiring contract.

Swapping 2022 for 2023 is superb GM work.

Adding another 2021 1st to the stockade is also huge when we look to jump from the 20s to the teens for a BIG TIME player.

Stone with GM before the season started. There you go. And no I’m not, you undervalue him.

Positive return for straight garbage, what more can you ask for?

One possible benefit: If Wood's return has an impact on this team and we end up winning a handful of games in the second half, our 2nd round pick would have kept moving further back in the round. Milwaukee, on the other hand, has a history of stumbling in the playoffs. We could very well have swapped a #8-10 second-rounder for a #25-27 first rounder. That's a nice little jump.

Solid deal as I’m sure they were trying to do PJ a solid to a contender. I really wasn’t expecting much anyway. Did we really expect more then this?

This was a great move by stone. As we know, anything can happen in a 2 year span. Who would’ve thought THIS would be our current roster 2 years ago?The unprotected 2023 pick is HUGE. Even moving up our second this year into the first round is huge.

Just look at PJ Tucker. Look at his age and the fact that he’s an expiring contract. We still have Oladipo to move. This was a brilliant move by Stone and may look even more brilliant in the next year or 2.

stockpiling assets is the name of the game at this point. Great job Stone

Seriously, BOTH players we got back are better than PJ Tucker....AND we got the better picks. Totally one sided trade in our favor.

I'm ok with it, honestly I don't think you could've expected much more player-wise and the draft assets are pretty strong.

Augustine flip? Wilson is an upgrade to Patton/Kurucs I'd imagine. Nothing wrong with getting to take a look, got a strong draft asset return for PJ and Kurucs.

Yeah this is a good trade.

That last part about ammo to jump up is what has changed my mind. I'm gonna wait until the draft before I truly judge this trade.

If PJ helps us get a 50-40-90 shooter like Kispert, this will be one of my favorite moves.
