Pretty underwhelming, but you get PJ to a contender and don’t take on any money. Neither of those guys will be on the team next year. Just hooking PJ up. Meh.

Yeah respectfully I have to disagree with folks who are nay-saying this trade. This is more than I expected for Tucker (not counting Wilson or Augustin who I am pencilling in as zeros).

Let's say we get #2 in the draft, I wonder if we could package our #2+Milwaukee+Portland and get #1? Golden State might do it (hoping)

Stone is an absolute CBA genius and has forgotten more about the loop holes than I'll ever know. I promise you, I'm not a cheerleader for this team. I was completely against the Harden trade but understood the logic. I literally cannot believe they got this much for PJ Tucker. I was afraid they were going to get a SRP and an expiring. DJ Augustin has value and could be flipped to the Clippers for another SRP and an expiring.

I expect at minimum a 1st round pick and expiring contract. Anything less is pathetic.

So essentially, we traded PJ to move from pick 33 to pick 25.

    Not really that impressive.

Bro, I see individuals disappointed here. This seems like a pretty damn good haul. What the hell?!? Clutchfans was telling me we were going to get a 2nd rounder and that was it.

I’m fine with this. Best of luck to PJ. Love that guy and glad he’s on a team who may contend.

You guys are misunderstanding the point. If we had traded PJ earlier, like beginning of the year, we could have gotten much better value instead of this trade which is basically nothing lol.

    Would've prefered the 2022 draft to 2023.

2022 draft I'd the deep one where they're allowing high school kids to enter???

    Wilson is interesting.
    Hopefully we flip Augustin. (Knicks?)

And we jump 5-10 picks this year which is a little something but not much.

anything less would just be a function of the market.

cause at this point it’s clear that Stone isn’t just going to be like “a second rounder and salary filler!! Sold!!!”

he’s making the rounds. He’ll get what the market says he can get.

What were the protections on the 2022 Bucks pick?

I can't believe folks aren't happy about moving up 8-10 spots in the draft. That can matter.

What an absolutely sublime deal for the Rockets.

It blows my mind how people aren’t ecstatic at this deal.

We made a 2nd Rounder a 1st, and landed a 2023 pick when freaking Giannis might be gone, gone, in what will be a freakishly talented draft.

    Amazing deal Rafael.

We’re literally just moving up like 7 spots in the later half of the draft. It’s not that impressive at all.
