I'm just giving @Reeko a hard time since I want to trade Oladipo so badly and he is here being negative about our shitty trade asset.
Maybe if we collectively just pretended he was great, the world would hear us. I never wanted him, from the second I heard he was coming. It was way worse than even I could imagine but the next stop is going to be the big step for him! Healthy and Happy. Everyone should throw everything at him.

Negative? I’m just being realistic and giving my thoughts trey Oladipo doesn’t have much value. What do u want me to say? Yes Wiggins is a bad contract, but GS would want to get rid of him so bad, that they’d attach Wiseman or the Minny pick to him so that they can acquire Oladipo who’s been atrocious and wants to get paid the same or more than Wiggins? CF usually overrates our player’s value or creates all these narratives to justify the other team doing something crazy...I mean, over the summer we had Westbrook for the 3rd or 8th pick talk

Since we're rebuilding any got-damn way, sure, I'd take Wiggins (my co-worker from Minnesota would call me in a heartbeat: "WTF, dude?"), but that Minnesota draft pick would have to be stapled to him. Golden State has to choose: maximize Steph's greatness or let it slide. And that team's salary is YUGE to be on the outside of the playoffs looking in. And yet, would Dipo want to re-sign at, say, $25,000,000 per for 4 seasons or so, being the sixth man on a potentially great team (starting next season when Klay returns) or Klay's stand-in because the guy can't stay healthy?
Oladipo hasn't been atrocious. The team has been atrocious. Oladipo hasn't been an All Star, he's looked a bit lost, but with this McHale's Navy of (not-much-of-a-) coach (that's right, I said it) and this revolving-door rotation, who can tell what we have, besides SOME hope in Porter Jr and Wood?
All I'm asking is for you to be a fake homer and hope some team does something as dumb as trading 2 FRP 2 Swaps and CP for Westbrook. We deserve it. Westbrook for the 3rd pick wasn't our valuation though. It was a rumor if Ball didn't fall to three they would have done it because they didn't want Wiseman. I don't make up my valuations, I base them off stuff I read. Oladipo sounds like he's worth almost nothing right now. From what I have heard, Miami wants to get him for Nunn and expiring contracts. I hope we get Aaron Gordon for him as a best case scenario who also has deflated value but an extra year to play with. The original photo had 4 teams. One of those was the Warriors. There are only 2 trades that would make sense with the Warriors. Wiggins+that pick or Wiseman for PJ and Oladipo or Oubre + 2027 Pick + filler for Oladipo. I don't believe there is a match but I was simply responding it wasn't close who I would prefer to deal with. The Warriors only have three things to offer. I do not believe they would put them on the table. But in a dream scenario they would do Wiseman or the pick. I hope for this and feel it's not impossible and that's because that would involve the Warriors making a shortsighted move like the Rockets did for Russ. We already have Perkins screaming to free Steph. That kind of narrative makes teams nervous. When people come up with thoughtful ideas and just get shot down by people who want to get laughs, it adds nothing. It's deflating and makes me not want to share thoughts here. It's not you but it's constant around here, you at least bring a lot to the forums, you're a pretty good read even though you're a bit of a negative cheerleader, you have solid reasoning that I can actually get behind. Too many people are just negative to bring down the place (it's not you).
Expiring contract - that's his value. You aren't trading for this guy because you want him to play for you.

Negativity is fun and cool, you know. I get negativity during a game in a game thread but outside of live games i don’t think everything looks like **** for the rockets right now. Threads from months ago talking about Harden having enough help are constantly bumped up on the top of CF, And your positive vibes only thread is somewhere burried with all the other threads about positivity. makes CF kinda hard to read lately, so thank you for staying positive and giving your thoughts which are always worth the read.
