This is a pretty creative idea, juts not sure if OKC would bite and if they did, if the cost is realistic.

Sure add Detroit and Portland pick, House if necessary. Both Porzingis and Wood can play at the top of the 3 pt line or Post. Wall, KPJ, Wood, Porzingis, Tate(Nwaba) is 4 or 5 seed next year. Add our draft picks, Gordan, KMartJr, and the future is bright. Don’t think Dallas is ready to give up this year though. Healthy Porzingis and they can make noise this year.

    I was thinking Dipo/Tucker x Porzingis

    Silas is familiar with Porzingis.
Mavs trying to trade Porzingis because he is always injured
Rockets love this crutches to something stuff, often injured players.

But, yes Trade Exception can make this trade look different

    Wood-Porzingis front court
Porter- (Cade Cunningham or Jalen Green) back court. Future "Wood" be bright

I don't think Cuban will ever agree to this even with guaranteed FRP's. He will probably trade back to the EC. I like Porzingis, but I want to see a healthy defensive minded big instead at a cheaper price.

Yeah, that's what makes it unrealistic. OKC is in control right now.

Magically get Porzingis, flip him to OKC for Horford and get all of the old picks and swaps back.

    I agree on healthier big.

But normally coaches like to bring their own staff or personnel with them. So I've been expecting one of Boban/Porzingis/Dwight Powell or WCS
coming or being brought to Houston.

Mavs desperately want to part with the Unicorn. Make a playoff run. Oladipo is a Cuban type acquisition. Even if it is a rental. He thinks he can
    convince him to stay.

Cuban is not so much like Popovich. He will trade with Western Conference foe or division rival. Especially if he thinks Porzingis will always
    be injured for us.

What is this mythical creature called a healthy Porzingis?

It’s a Porugen. It is much less known in folklore than the Kuruken because it makes its home even deeper in the vast abyss of the ocean and rarely has interactions with cf or any other mere mortals.

Stone should realize that we shouldn't be running a hospital. No, to an injured Porzingis from me. I do like your creativity mon ami.

    I love that comment.

I wouldn't trade for Porzingis; but I don't run the team. Rockets don't do half of the things I would recommend.

Yes I think someone in management is a "take in all stray cats and dogs" type (Patrick Fertitta). Feels sorry for all the injured players, plus
saves his dad some money by getting them at discounted rates.

But I wouldn't be surprised if Porzingis/Josh Richardson x variations of Oladipo/Tucker/McLemore/Sterling Brown with her of TPE are on the table.

Rockets will pull the trigger if nothing better comes up.

Watching Alabama/LSU......great game if you need a game to watch.

I think it’s more like a lottery ticket. Tough to trade for a Harden unless he forces his way to your team. Your hoping one of those injured guys is a buy low guy, sell high player. It’s a gamble, just like the draft. Kinda our only options at this point. I like the approach but I’m a risk taker at this point.

Believe or not many teams do want Porzingis. Heat, Warriors, Boston and others included. Much like you said, what are our options?

Oladipo-Porzingis being the meat of the orders. Dipo expiring contract while Zingis is injury prone.

Mavs have side dishes to match our side dishes.

    James Johnson $16.1M (expiring)
Josh Richardson (P.O. next season of $11.6M) can play some SF.
    WCS $4.1M (T.O. next season)
    Boban $3.5M (expiring)

    Rockets: McLemore/Brown/Tucker/Nwaba

Makes a lot of sense for both teams. I hope the Rockets don't do a trade unless no better deal.
