Ariza was a scrub. No matter how many times people bring this up it won't change that fact.

Harden forced a trade for Westbrook and it destroyed the team so he wanted to bail. That's all there is to it, that was unavoidable

Sounds like that would be where the problem is then, you going to bat for literally the worst player on the Rockets roster in the final series he played with the team.

I go on performance, not on feels.

... Ariza was no super star but he was one of the best role players in the game. Calling him a scrub is just unfair. Scrubs are all the guys we replaced him with. A James Ennis, James Nunnally, Danuel House, Carmelo Anthony, Ben Mclemore, Sterling Brown...

Talking about what someone was once upon a time says nothing about them years later.

He was a very solid role player in 2013, he was the worst player on the Rockets roster in the Warriors series in 2018. Mr. 20% 3 point shooting, no defense playing 3 and D player was a straight up scrub..... but some hype him up as if he was the key to the whole team lol

Feel like you have unrealistic expectations. He had a bad shooting series versus the warriors but how much of that was attributed to the fact MDA decided to only play 7 guys and Ariza played 45 minutes a game chasing around Klay, Curry, and Durant. What role player woulda played well under those circumstances. That is why Luc being injured hurt soo much.

No matter how bad he shot he was still really important to our switching defense that caused the Warriors issues. Once we lost him our defense took a huge step back.

Yeah, pretty awful situation when you are giving that many minutes to a completely worthless player, it's why not bringing him back was a good thing in the end. If he was still here, he'd have been every bit as terrible as James Ennis and the team would have just kept running him out there instead of trying to make the roster better.

What they think is irrelevant, listening to those morons is how we ended up trading CP3 for Westbrook.

i agree with bobby on pj. He is an end of rotation guy in the modern nba. he really is closer to chuck hayes with a 3 point shot without the passing. I dont see how he is worth anything more than worthless 2nd rounder

So you must think the Nets are a lock to win it all this year. By your logic Harden carried the greatest group of trash to one win away from
the finals. So with KD Kyrie Harris they shouldn't lose a game then.

    Just a tip Bobby.

When you call yourself "great" it is a signal to everyone else just how out to lunch you are.

That's kindergarten caliber banter kiddo. Come with a counter-argument to what I said or you're just embarrassing yourself.

You are almost certainly better off just taking the L rather than continuing to dig that hole you're in.

Pointing out the fact that Trevor Ariza was absolute garbage is not saying anything about the entire roster.

Everything you say is ridiculous, arguing with you is counter productive because you live in fantasy land.

Tilman Fertitta single handedly and unilaterally dismantled the 2nd best team in the NBA in just 3 seasons.

    THAT is the truth.

You can't Ted Cruz your way out of that.

What I said was just facts kiddo. Your guy Ariza was straight trash. He was a 20% 3 point shooter who played no defense whatsoever when we needed him the most....not what you want from your 3 and D guy.

I know you feel like you have to cling to the delusion that Ariza was spectacular in order to blame someone besides Harden for his actions, but reality is going to slap you around when you do that.

There was nothing that could have saved the franchise from what Harden did to it. Bringing back Ariza wouldn't have made any difference whatsoever. The team would have likely been even worse giving that scrub heavy minutes and Harden still would have forced the Westbrook trade then forced his way out of town.

When the guy you build your franchise around acts like a b****, you are pretty much screwed. It has nothing at all to do with who was signing the checks.

Ariza was trash, PJ Tucker is trash. Stop going to bat for garbage ass players.

    Class dismissed.

You cant even pay attention to who you're arguing with.

    I said nothing about Ariza.

But you're wrong about him too.

    Per usual.

Lol what? A guy who plays 45 minutes a game and is absolute trash and no one can take his minutes. Is absolutely saying the entire roster is garbage.....
