I'm all aboard the Suggs train. He's got a fantastic competitive spirit and has a gamer mentality, and has great vision as a passer... and is a good shooter. This is the type of leadership we need on the court. A can't miss prospect.

I don’t think people understand... If you were to tank as hard as you can without a pick swap scenario and be a bottom 3 team, and then land the 5th pick, you would be disappointed! Yes you’d still get that 5th pick, but you’d be “most likely” trying the following year for that number 1/2 future stud again.

We’re in that same spot now, but we only have to be bad for half of a short season. Yes we’ll be disappointed if we don’t get a top 4, because we don’t get to keep it, but landing the 5th pick is not the goal of tanking. Good gosh, you could reset this team in 3 months with the number 1 or 2 pick. The reason that protection was included was for this exact scenario. If we didn’t have it and got it, we’d be ecstatic and be gearing up for the ping pong odds. Tank it for the shortest half season you could ask for, and hope you get the franchise changing pick you will eventually need.

Cade with 25, 8, and 5 with clutch plays against #1 ranked Baylor

20 points in the 2nd half

#2 in the country, they were the 1 seed in the tournament but still, There is a clear reason to shoot for the top spot. Cade is Luka mixed with Tatum. I don't care about any pick but #1. Go for it.

Well sure.... but my point is that the other top picks have more defined skillsets. I still like Kuminga but he has a bit of mystery to go along with the athleticism at a premium position. Still would consider him at 3 or 4 pick, especially the latter.

Now that we are in pole position for top odds at #1, I'm right there with you. He's our best shot at getting a Harden level player in the next decade. 14% chance at a potential generational talent? No hesitation.

I would prefer Cade also, but wouldn't turn up my nose at Suggs, Mobley, or Green.

I assume Cade & Mobley are 1 & 2. You got Green or Suggs at 3?

IDK. Cade and Mobley are in the top tier while Green, Suggs, Kuminga are the second. Recency bias makes me like Green over Suggs.

If we don't end up winning the cade sweepstakes, I am jumping at Kuminga. I just think his floor is Luol deng and his ceiling is some combination of Kawhi, Iggy and a bigger Jalen Brown. He could be a stud between Wood and KPJ.

Suggs seems like the safe, boring, vanilla pick...the equivalent of a PB&J sandwich

Green is at least a step above Kuminga, he could end up being the best of the bunch after all said and done, his upside is crazy..

I would even take Suggs over Kuminga, because he does everything well and is high IQ, high effort. And this is coming from the guy completely against adding any more 6'5 guards.

But Cade and Mobley are just too long, too talented, to good a fit.

If we get any of the top five talents, It will be a success

But if I had the number one pick... As of right now I’m going Cade ...

I’ll be honest, I’m actually pretty stunned on how good KPJr looks ... KJMartin looks Like a first round pick as well...
