This is probably the reason why, it sure is frustrating for me though.

At this time a lot of people were hoping Lebron would want to play with CP3 and I know we heard Morey had plans to make it work under the cap if Lebron wished to come here. It would have meant moving everyone but I'm sure it would have been done.

It had some legs, Chris Bosh even thought Lebron would come here...and maybe it could have happened if Lebron wasn't so intent on becoming a movie star.

he's going to regurgitate years and years of sucking and never come close to worrying about LTS again and these few Tilman bootlickers will still eat it up

    Yup
No matter what people think of him , he’s not as poor as they believe him to be and will never be as rich as certain dudes who test out real rockets
Doubt anyone wants to watch bad basketball for a long period of time
    Bad for business

David Nwaba and Sterling Brown definately have Trade Interest.

The Rockets can get more 1st Round Picks, especially since they can leave after this year.

If they give all these players up, they'll have to suit up the coaching staff to play.

i skimmed the last 2 pages and lots of talk about Harden, Brooklyn and Blake Griffin.

Is there a trade market for EG? That's what I'm curious about.

Idgaf about Tilman's luxury tax spending habits right now. Rightly or wrongly, we're in for the full rebuild.

It ain’t the owner I support. It’s the team. The owner could make me give up the team...

Because he wanted the easy ring in GS?

No matter how you feel about it he went to the team that was most likely to get him a championship.

I don't think the city had much to do with it.

We do have 20 mill. But only 8 players signed.
But Nwaba should be re signed if possible. (3 mill on the cheap end)
We'll also need to find a backup PG, and C. (3 mill each on the cheap end)
Then add in our draft pick anywhere from. 2-7 mill.

Which only leaves 3 to 10 mill to hit on a PF.(depending on the pick)

Obvs we care less if we get a top 4 pick.

Trying to invent some arbitrary purity test on owners. I'm sure TF is no saint. If you want to support good people, I doubt any NBA owners qualify.

That isn't exactly how it works

If we trade Gordon and open up an extra 18mill (on top of the 25mill theoretical), we have a max spot that is usable before making other moves.
We can add vet min once capped and/ or use the exceptions and/or make moves with trade exemptions

Ie, use the cap space first, then exceed the cap later.

I don't think LBJ just wants to be teammates with Harden period. They both ball dominant and heavy usage players. Lebron didn't even give Harden a 2nd look and would rather have 3 pgs on his all star squad.

Stick a fork in this pipe dream now. :(

If that was a groin yesterday (I haven't checked news), we'll be seeing Gordon next season.

Injury looked bad. We may have to hang onto EGo til next season, but similar to Wall, EGo’s value is higher than closer his contract gets to expiring. I think we could recoup some value for him next year.

Oladipo on the other hand, my god...
