    Bobby:
    -One of my favorite players
-Missed 2 games this year; since December 2012, just 5 games missed; ultimate Ironman; reliable veteran
-Tucker/Gordon last men standing from WCF teams
-Don’t blame Tucker; “I tried to sign an extension here, money wasn’t where I thought so now I’ll sit until I know where my future is.”
-Unlike Drummond/Aldridge where I think they’ll end up in a buyout, Tucker has value around the league
    -Expiring contract; easy to trade
-$7.97M is his contract; $3.4M left

    Some teams with trade exceptions:
-Celtics: $28M trade exception; would not give up lottery protected first for Tucker

    -Thunder: not a player here

-Nuggets: $9.5M trade exception; no roster spot and $5.3M below the LT; taking in Tucker and waiving a player puts them in the tax; something the Nuggets aren’t willing to do

-Sixers: Morey signed Tucker; $8.2M exception; have 2nd and 1st round picks; team to keep an eye on.

Woj & Tim reported four interested teams; hate to be Debbie Downer...

-Nets: Nets have Dinwiddie contract; player option for next year; that trade works but if you’re Houston, that puts you in the LT; what do you do with Dinwiddie who is injured? Do you want to re-sign him? Nets have future 2nds to move; that deal works but look at it from both sides.

-Bucks: $442K below hard cap; hard to construct a trade; DiVincenzo & Wilson work? Yeah but why move DiVincenzo for 3 months of Tucker? That doesn’t make sense; hard to get the numbers to work unless moving Augustin or Portis

-Lakers: $1.5M below hard cap; two roster spots available; to get the money to work would be a challenge; got Wes Matthews, Marc Gasol, Alfonso McKinnie; not trading Caruso; challenge to get a deal done.

-Nets, Bucks, Lakers don’t have first round picks to trade

-Miami makes most sense. Have a trade exception but not enough to take Tucker in; have Avery Bradley’s contract($5.6M with team option for next year), could add 2nd round pick; does Avery Bradley make sense for Houston?; Heat aren’t trading Robinson or Herro for Tucker; if I were in the Houston front office, I wouldn’t even ask. It’s a little bit of an insult. I’m hanging up the phone if I’m Riley.

-If a team acquires Tucker, they can extend him. Max is 2 years, $17M. You inherit his bird rights.

Whatever leverage we had to get value for him just disappeared. Mid-late 2nd incoming.

Why wasn’t he moved the day Harden was? Why wasn’t Oladipo flipped after we started losing? Keeping expiring vets while they play like trash on a losing team just tanks their value.

It should be about getting the most value possible for PJ, not about if he's happy or not.

PJ’s value is basically nothing so I don’t really care...only contenders are interested in him, and they’re not gonna give up anything of note to acquire him

Maybe a young guy like Paul Reed or D.J. Wilson.

    Possibly a 2nd rd pick.

Aldrige is height and meat, can score and has high bbiq. That is really important in the playoffs

    that’s basically nothing

u named 2 irrelevant players from teams that are aiming for a championship and playing for something meaningful which is the type of situation I said PJ should go to and where he’d be happy

Picks are all we need if a valued player comes with the deal that's ok too.

If folks were truly offering that for PJ he'd be gone already my friend. We'll be lucky to get a 2nd rounder however a buyout is probably more likely. I know Stone is holding out as long as he can.

We will get something from Philly. Trade exception and draft picks would be my guess. Morey is ALWAYS willing to give away draft picks.

For Mr Ironman to be a healthy scratch, someone's fuse must be burning. I'm excited for both the team and PJ for him to move on soon.

Not in the new NBA. A mobile big man is useful. All other bigs are completely worthless. Cuz great players will put them on an island in isolation and they have no chance at guarding the likes of Harden, Kyrie etc.

Aldridge's offense doesn't make up enough for his lack of defense. He won't be able to stay on the court for more than 5 minutes against elite teams.

I feel the same way about Marc Gasol. Which is why I was shocked the Lakers went after him. Still think the Lakers got worse this off-season.

Lakers pretty much won the ring last year and played 10x better when they decided to bench Howard and McGee. It's not a coincidence. Small ball works, the Rockets just don't have the right personnel.

PJ Tucker should be frustrated at himself for being such a terrible basketball player all season long. If he was any good at all, he'd probably have been traded by now, but he's got basically no value whatsoever at this point.

He gives you 0 pts anyway so doesnt matter if he plays or not lmao. Id rather give Kmart more burn.

If I were Stone Id try to trade him to Lakers for THT and cap fillers (Wesley Matthews and Dudley).

At the end of the day, I think PJ ends up in Philly. They just have the right pieces to make a deal work for both sides.

My guess is it ends up being PJ into their TPE, plus another vet min guy like McLemore, Nwaba or Brown, for Paul Reed and a 2nd.

height and meat mean absolutely nothing when you can barely move and can't guard anyone. He also struggles to even score these days so it definitely doesn't make up for it. PJ is way more valuable to a contender than a washed Aldridge at this point
