    lol... jus so delusional...

if you cant see he's hurting his value - and subsequently our return... then idk what to tell you man...

and yeh, I think the contract they offered him was 'taking care of him' for past service - bc he aint gonna get paid that on the open market...

Delusional, do you honestly believe teams are going to lower their value in 2 weeks time because he's sitting out now??? Explain to me, you arent understanding that people still want him RIGHT NOW. Him playing or not playing for us doesnt hurt anything. Literally Aldridge and the Spurs are doing that right now. Do you think that's hurting his value??? No.

We arent getting anything but second rounders, you need to understand that.

Its not, its underpaying him what he's owed only guaranteeing him 10 mil. He wont but he deserves that money from us.

You probably need to consult a lawyer about contract law before you make this post. He screwed himself when he signed the contract. He should be mad at his agent and himself.

Exactly why do you give 2 craps about whether or not a multi millionaire gets a few more million?

All I care about is his trade value, which at the moment probably pretty low.

Come off this crap, contracts dont give you binding authority to screw someone over and they dont allow you to keep someone from feeling a way abou it either. PJ didnt like his contract so he wanted more and now wanted to be moved. Rockets didnt give him what he deserved. And if you are so worried about contracts, Im sure you are not mad about Harden, correct? Be mad himself, for what? Over-performing that contract and expecting a company to show loyalty, man.....whatever. If you dont show loyalty to PJ Tucker than you are a clown show of an organization, epseically when paying him harms the team in no matter whatsoever.

The dude has been driving down his value all season with his half ass play...
Then siding with Blames over mgmt - while Blames was under contract - i'm sure didnt go unnoticed...
Now skipping practice and lobbying to sit out - and there goes the 'professional locker room presence' appeal... and leaving us with zero leverage.
If PJ had been doing his job to the best of his ability all season and hadnt engaged in the drama - we'd be able to squeeze a frp outta a team trying to make a run...
As it is we'll prob get a 2nd...
but may end up buying him out and get nothing...
    we'll see...

and i'm sure if PJ blew out his knee in his first game, he would have graciously refunded a portion of his contract - since he would have then 'underperformed' his contract - or doesnt it work both ways?

No he has not. The system does not fit him. He's only stopped caring once this team became complete trash.
Lol oh you are mad at Harden? Let me refer you to DD's favorite saying, its just business bro. Who cares if he sided with James, he came into work. This company showed no loyalty to him why should they expect the same.
What? Dude, this lowers his value in no way. The Spurs just did this with Aldridge.
No. Thats the Rockets fault for not trading him sooner. He was never gonna garner a FRP with the system Silas is running, ever.
    That was always the case.
    Doubtful, we will get something.

Feelings? LMAO, like I said he screwed himself when he signed his contract. Morey didn't put a gun to his head. I wasn't mad about Harden, it was time and they got good value for him. IMHO

Does that even matter? We are tanking dude, this year and next year. We are gonna be bad for at least two-three years.

LMAO they got ass value for Harden btw, of course you liked that trade lol. Contracts arent always ethical and they arent this binding force that should makes players feel happy about being screwed over, especially when he over performed it by a lot. You screaming "contract contract contract" over and over doesnt make it right and it certainly doesnt mean he doesnt deserve that money, he does, dont come to me with garbage about contracts, if you were being underpaid you would feel the same way. A company bled you dry while underpaying you LOL, but hey you signed the contract!!!!!

    Typical stooge crap.

I'm saying if the 'underpaid' contract he signed had gone the other way - and he blew out his knee - he wouldnt be offering no refunds!

Yet we still offered PJ a new contract... a rebuilding tanking team offering an over the hill dude a 2 year deal - yet yer gonna b**** about him being underpaid and the lack of loyalty...

You are talking outta both sides of yer mouth from post to post just trying to justify obviously selfish unprofessional behavior. Yer quoting DD for god's sake... lmao!

So what? It doesnt effect the team in any way. This is payment for not paying him before, not what he's going to do.

Because it is still underpaying him. How do you not get that.

Im quoting him ironically. Selfish? Im gonna ask you again, when a GM and Player and his agaent mutually come to an agreement to sit with his trade value not being affected in any way, how does it matter? It doesnt. The dude's on this squad have been defending Tucker all year btw.

I'm held to contracts in my business all of the time. I have to ride out the terms and renegotiate a new contract when it expires. If things go south there's an out clause but it hurts to invoke that clause for either myself or the other party. Something that you obviously dont understand.

PJ for low FRP or multiple SRP, or a promising young player:
    • 6'5 Matisse Thybulle
    • 6'8 Paul Reed
    • 6'8 Precious Achiuwa
    • 6'5 Tyler Herro
    • 6'5 Spencer Dinwiddie
