Man if he only plays like 10 minutes during garbage time... The only excuse would be to showcase current players for a trade.
That was my biggest gripe. I think for symbiosis among the big and little team they should have allowed the youngsters to finish off their GLeague playoffs. GLeague Championship game I think is today. You could have bought about 2 weeks to do this "vet showcase" while the young uns finish off their covid protocols. Bring them up after the trade deadline and everything falls into place. This extra practice time makes me laugh like these guys are pushing for a playoff spot or something. It was a strange way to handle the talent IMO. Now you have to try and find time for everyone.
Good points. What the Rockets are doing would make sense if some vets leaving is imminent. Perhaps they already have deals on the table, but are waiting for better. If this isn't the case, we need to showcase the guys we want to move, which goes back to your point(s).
It's not weird. It's not Rockets science (see what I did there?). You send the kid to the G League and let him A.) learn our plays and B.) be Michael Jordan for a month so he can come up confident and with a positive attitude.
I think we need Cade a lil more... need to see more out of kpj to see if he really can be our primary ball handler as harden once was.
why not the 2022 version of Harden and Paul? Cade and KPJ 48 minutes of always one of them on the court.
