So amazing that gap year ... imo, that’s always been the biggest media bias ever

he scored 29ppg and played 82 games on a playoff team ...
as two-yr running 1st Teamer, reigning 2nd in MVP voting

No perennial 1st teamer gets disrespected like that
They only get knocked out completely from injury years

In the case of our franchise I think Basketball References Total Winshares list does a pretty good job of a top 5 for best careers as members of the Houston Rockets.

    1. Hakeem Olajuwon* 160.6
    2. James Harden 115.1
    3. Calvin Murphy* 84.1
    4. Rudy Tomjanovich* 70.4
    5. Moses Malone* 70.0

    6. Yao Ming* 65.9
    7. Otis Thorpe 54.5
    8. Steve Francis 41.4
    9. Robert Reid 40.9
    10. Elvin Hayes* 40.8

McGrady not appearing in the top 10 is...troubling. Dude missed a lot of games in his time here.

As far as peak achieved while playing for Houston I don’t think there really is any kind of debate of the top three players and the order they belong. Final two are tough. Paul and McGrady seem like the right answers but their peaks were so damn short for us.

    Hakeem
    Harden
    Moses

    Paul
    McGrady

I’m going to just go with what they did as a Rocket otherwise you have to start including Barkley and Pippen.

    Hakeem
    Harden
    Moses
    Yao
    Calvin

Said this previously, will say it again.

    1. Danuel "Just give me a chance" House
    2. Danuel "Im playing a dangerous game" House
    3. Danuel "I need some booty in the bubble" House
    4. Danuel "I can do more" House
    5. Danuel "Itz lit" House

The evolution of Danuel House is truly something unprecedented in Rockets history. I have never seen a player "grow" like him before.

The reason I like Yao so much is how hard he played, and what a class act he was - he played hard on both ends, all the time, it was close between him and Harden, both had about 8 years - but in the end, I thought Yao was a bit better overall for the team.

Personal choice.....he is one of my favorite Rockets ever.....

It is kind of like Scola - someone that I LOVED as a Rocket - just loved loved loved how he played, same with Battier, Chuck Hayes, Elie.....just guys that gave it their all all the time.....

Next one will be about best role players I think.

Ok, this is probably the real answer.

    Hakeem
    Horry
    Elie
    Clyde
    Cassell & Kenny

    Unstoppable.
