KPJ will be the starting PG by middle of next season.

Yeah, I sorta agree. If we can get assets for him, great; if not, let KPJ learn from him. People have blamed Wall for the skid and that's just not fair. Wall has averaged 20+ PPG, his three ball has been okay, he's played good defense, and his TS%, while low, has been much better than Westbrook's.

 

I think JW would be a tremendous 3rd option.

Allow him to make plays and distribute the ball to two other elite level players, surround him with scorers...

Why not? He'll be good for 16/7 a game two years from now.

And, veteran leadership will be key during the rebuild.

 

Gotta have a tank commander for this year and next at least.

 

This is a false trail to drive up Wall’s value. Wall hates small ball and hates that his butt-buddy ain’t here. We need to ride this all the way down. Can’t tank half-way.

 

Got a feeling most teams are just offering a bag of cheetos and maybe a twinkie or two for him. Rockets are going to try to get as much as possible from him. I'm ok with that. It's not like this team is championship bound next year.

If Jrue holiday doesn’t re-sign with Milwaukee this off-season, I can totally see MIL going for Wall in a deal. They will have no picks to go find a PG and there will be no PGs near Jrue level available this offseason. Also, a Wall/Giannis pick and roll combo is pretty solid..
