“Jack is really good at a lot of things. He brings a diverse skill set to the organization” So what exactly does Jack Easterby do? “Jack is very good at what he does... and he does it well@
A lot of questions about Watson despite his insistence that they're "committed to Watson". Basically trying to call Culley on his bullshit.
Q: "You've said you're committed to Watson, but is he committed to the team?" A: "Yes he is." Q: "How do you know that?" A: "Well, he's a Houston Texan." Q: "Are you guys trading Deshaun Watson?" A: "Deshaun Watson is a Texan and we're committed to him."
Yea that interview was painful. “Do you feel like the organization has put you in a position to succeed?” “100% and I get more excited every day.” “Now that Johnson was resigned how do you feel about the running game given the struggles last year?” “David Johnson is a great running back!” SMDH
Wooow, I kinda feel bad for the guy. 4 christians in Cal, Easterby, Caserio and Jan send out another christian to lie his a*s off and be their sacrificial lamb. Poor guy seemed extremely uncomfortable. Any tool supporting this needs to come back to earth.
There's no reason to drag Culley. Like everyone said, he's towing the company line - saying the wrong thing at this point most likely means the Texans can him while offering up some crap reason about how Culley suddenly doesn't fit the culture.
Look, Culley sold his soul for his one time ever chance at being a head coach. He's old, will be out of the game soon, saw a chance and he took it. There is NO WAY he is ever going to be successful as a head coach with this team, everyone knows it, all we are doing right now is killing time for a rebuild. It's not his fault, but he did sign up for it. It is what it is. There will be many, many more painful press conferences to come...
Close to the worst thing I've heard as a Texans fan since all this started... Even he had questions about his qualifications! ""
