Good lord, what a dumbass. I would say I can't believe a major sports franchise would hire someone like him, but the local church masquerading as one taught me otherwise.
Well, I’m perfectly happy knowing that one of our divisional foes is being run by an incompetent moron!
Yankees fans booed Lourdes Gurriel Jr. after thinking he played for the 2017 Astros https://ftw.usatoday.com/2021/03/yankees-fans-boo-lourdes-gurriel-brother-yuli-astros-cheating Yankees fans a smart bunch huh? Anyone hoping the fans have forgotten about us?
The hilarious milestones Astros' Zack Greinke is trying to reach ”The only milestone I pay attention to is I wanted to get 10 home runs and 10 stolen bases, and then I got traded to the American League and made it way harder for that to happen," https://www.chron.com/sports/astros...ke-10-home-runs-stolen-bases-hit-15988850.php
I'm sure MLB will once again claim ignorance and say they have no orders in place to make the ball a certain way... even though they own the manufacturer.
They did order a change in the ball regarding making balls less bouncy. Regarding drag, I agree they will continue to plead ignorance on changes to drag.
What sense does it make to allow for a sellout on opening day then go back to reduced capacity? Well I guess I can answer that. Teams often sell out the first game of the season and then for the first month or two have smaller crowds until the summer so they are just following with what they know will happen anyway.
I like the forcing a pitcher to step off for a pick off throw. LHPs have pushed the envelope too far on how much they can step towards home and not get called a balk. I don't like the 3rd pickoff attempt is a balk. It puts too big a penalty on the pickoff. Maybe making it a ball would be a decent penalty on the third pickoff attempt.
