My opinion, but I wouldn’t group Herro and Robinson together. Robinson is a 26 y/o 3 point specialist in the last year of his rookie deal. Herro is a 20 y/o that has flashed all-star potential with 2 more years left on his deal after this year. Their values aren’t close to one another.
So, our three main trade pieces and why teams are hesitant. Tucker: Old and offensively limited. Gordon: Old and injury prone. Oladipo: Only wants Miami. ^ gif of the thread, so far.
All great points bro. I just wonder if you allow KPJ and the other call ups to keep playing meaningful games. Hopefully for another week. At that point you could feign some Covid protocol to buy another week. That’s trade deadline time. By then the pieces that were moved are gone and there is a more symbiotic path forward. I just hope the vets don’t get petty. We need to know which players belong in our future. This is the best way. We already know what we have with these guys. We’re getting crushed. What if we play the young guys and .............. start winning? It is what it is now, but in your lineup did you mean to have KPJ backup the 2 and EG at 1 - not vice versa?
I don't think a Heat trade happens without Herro. I flip flopped a bit but I don't think Achiuwa and a FRP while taking on 2 year contracts is going to top what the Knicks, Nuggets, Warriors or even a team like the 76ers (Thybulle, Maxey and a FRP) could offer. Almost 10 teams could top Achiuwa and a FRP. It just takes one just like Clutch said. Does Miami bite and cough up Herro? I hope so but I really don't know.
All the insider Cs ARE BELONG TO US!!!!!! @Clutch @cyberx @ch44 @Codman @cook @Creyk3 @Contro Ok happy hour was lit y’all
lol I think the Killer C's and Nook belong in a category separate from me. I hope I hear more soon but those guys all seem to get steady information. I have too many wild trade ideas to be in the same breath with those guys. I want to be the Bill Simmons of Rockets fans.
My main reason for optimism is Stone. He’s been nails so far, and I have no reason to think he won’t make the best move he can. I won’t be surprised if there is some crazy 3 team deal that involves some combination of Oladipo, Tucker and Exum, with us providing tax relief in some form and getting back a good package of assets. Stone has earned some trust.
I wouldn’t say I’m all in on Robinson, but we haven’t had a shooter of his caliber in a long time. We could do worse.
PJ to 76ers for Paul Reed works for me. https://tradenba.com/trades/862ddu5qm https://gleague.nba.com/player/paul-reed/
Just wondering, hmm... Cubes tested the market on Porzingas. Silas knows Porzingas. Would VO - KP be in anyone’s thoughts???
