Yup, I like Edwards and Wiseman but Ball is just on another level. He could have been their nextgen after Stephanie.
Houston is just playing the supply/demand dynamics. I don’t think Oladipo, Tucker or Gordon are worth a ton, but they are pretty much the only options on the market. Wherever they end up, they will make that team better. I doubt we get a huge haul, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if it’s better than we expect.
I was reading Warrior fans comments about an Olidipo trade. Sounds like they really want him, but are lowballing us bad! They want us to take on Wiggins and some dude named Wanamaker. No Minnesota draft pick.
I've heard the opposite. He's probably the most coveted out of everyone on the team who is on the block. The team better trade him while he's hot.
I think most teams have seen Brooklyn aka the new Warriors team. Anyone who wants to beat them knows it's an arms race and you need shooters. Gordon is the best shooter available. Kerr wants something from us? After all the BS we've put up with? No! He either gives us something good or we just keep Dipo. Expiring contract = way better than getting Golden state Garbage. Especially Wiggins.
Where? Cause PJ has multiple teams interested in him that we know of from multiple sources now, same with Oladipo. Not heard much of a peep about Gordon
Yeah, and "Rafael is pretty shrewd" indicating the Rockets have a plan, but then "I expect it all to explode" which makes it sound uncontrolled? It is an interesting article, but it sounds like a lot of guesswork by their sources.
Maybe less than a generational talent, but if I were in their shoes, I wouldn't give up Wiseman or a high pick for an Oladipo rental at this point. We've seen Oladipo play this year. He is not a superstar or even an All-Star at this point. He is very inconsistent on offense. Maybe in a better situation, he will play better, but it is a big unknown.
If a trade isn't made today, I'm guessing nothing gets done until much closer to the 3/25 deadline. Tomorrow being basically the only full normal practice for the second half of the season (there will be way too many games in way too few days to have full practices like tomorrow's) and the team putting so much emphasis on it makes it so much stranger that nothing has happened yet.
Because it's top 3 protected? Because it's about 50/50 they get it this year. Because if the Wolves luck out this year and keep their pick, there is little to no chance a team with KAT/Russell/top 3 pick / Edwards could be this bad ever again, especially with Finch in tow. I'm guessing it's 12-17 in 2022. Because the Warriors have no other way to upgrade their roster? Wiseman or the pick are all they have that is a positive asset. Wiggins is an all time bad asset. Like John Wall but instead of injuries, he just hates basketball. Because Steph, Klay and Draymond are all exiting their prime and have about three years left to compete?
Traded for Oladipo to contend for the playoffs lmao They already screwed up the most important trade of the year. Can’t wait to see how they screw up the trade deadline. What a terrible organization.
