Younger does not always equal better... but yes, they are set up to succeed for longer if they stay together and healthy, and the Nets are closer to their prime, but my point stands.

Also, Durant is not that young anymore by pro athlete standards, not to mention the major injury he's coming off of. Kyrie is pretty injury prone two. So that's two of the three that are missing major benefits of their youth.

Younger, but pretty equivalent in terms of mileage.

They have Dumbtoni on their side so they will most likely **** it up regardless. Remember he had Nash, Amare, Marion and JJ at one point as well lol.

Prob Griffin. He may just be dogging it playing on a scrub team like the Pistons. I refuse to believe he really can't dunk anymore lol.

Griffin shows the difference between having to be the man and not having to be the man. He looked like he was washed in Detroit, and now being the 5th option, he has a career high shooting percentage with the Nets. Nothing like being left wide open.

He's also shooting an absurd 90% around the rim. Granted he's only attempted 10 shots near the rim but if he can give them even 65% near the rim to tack onto his perimeter shooting that PnR with Harden is going to be tough in the playoffs.

He's also making a lot of good simple passes based on his experience. Nothing fancy, just being aware.

And people are saying that these bought out players don't matter. Both Griffin and Aldridge are skilled players. Griffin used to be all athleticism. But he has developed good shooting skills later in his career. These guys don't have the quickness and explosiveness to be stars in the NBA anymore. But they still possess the skills that will definitely help, especially when some other role players are injured or in foul trouble.

After watching Griffin play a bit I can see him being useful to the Nets in the playoffs, He is just trying harder than he did in Detroit and he does have a great BBIQ he is a great insurance once Green goes into his inevitable funk.

I still think when Green is engaged he is a better player than current Griffin.

If nothing else, Griffin is a 6 fouls to throw at AD and Lebron while creating space on the offensive end.

Griffin is still a very good player, and now he has ZERO pressure......he is embracing his new ROLE player status.
