    Putting all the pieces together...
    (Fingers crossed)

    GSW
    In: Oladipo & Exum
    Out: Wiggins & FRP (Minnesota)
Cleans their cap and gives them a chance to reload for a championship in the near future.

    NYK
    In: Gordon & Kurcus
    Out: Toppin & Knox
Toppin just not mature enough for a playoff push and Gordon was our X factor, their coach needs scoring but with Gordon won’t give up defense to get it. Knox looks like a bust that needs a new home —> Kurcus is a replacement project for him.

    Heat
    In: Wall, House, McLamore
    Out: Dragic, Iguodala, Olynyk
Butler, Bam & Wall. House is playable in the playoffs some think we had a fighting chance against the Lakers with him just last year. I do know his absence was felt which means there is value in him. Benny Mc can still shoot.

    76ers
    In: Tucker
    Out: Thybulle
Bit of stretch but maybe Morey dose this as a solid for PJ. AND we somehow redirect Iguodala or Olynyk after the buy out their way.

    Rockets
(everyone will need name tags because it’s a total blow-up)
In: Wiggins, Dragic, Toppin, Thybulle & Knox—> buy out Iguodala & Olynyk. FRP
Out: Wall, Oladipo, Gordon, Tucker, House, McLamore, Exum & Kurcus

opens 3 roster spots & saves $17M plus more because $22M will be renegotiated in buyouts.

Just a few more days till it’s over with

    Go Rockets!

Duckett's writing leaves a lot to be desired.

But he says the Rockets insider (Feigan) quotes Ra-fell that he's not a FRP hoarder, so will not give up his vets.

    Sure.

Just do 1 of these trades:

    Nets: Oladipo, Kurucs
    Rox: MPJ, Harris

    Magic: Oladipo
    Rox: AG

Trade PJ-BMac-House and/or EGo for FRP.

Bundle FRP and move up to Draft 7'0 Evan Mobley.

    6'5 Porter
    6'3 EGo or 6'4 Harris
    7'0 Mobley
    6'10 MPJ or 6'8 AG
    6'10 Wood

    HOUnds 2nd Unit:

    6'4 Wall
    6'5 Sterling or 6'5 Nwaba
    6'6 Lamb
    6'4 Tate

Just keep Wall away from the Young Guns.

If we can flip wiggins I'm all for it. That guy is a waste of talent.

I sort of think the GS deal is fair. I've been thinking about it for weeks. It's a complete gamble for both teams. If the Wolves get a top 3 pick and retain their pick, they could get be pretty good in 2022. A healthy KAT and 2nd year Edwards combined with Cunningham or Green can make the playoffs. Then the Rockets are stuck with Wiggins and a pick around 20. A pick around 20 isn't horrible, but we already have that this year from Portland and we paid a fraction of that price.

On the other hand, if that pick lands 4 or 5, then the Rockets have accelerated their rebuild by years. Rockets are already 50/50 gambling with this current tank that we can keep our pick, might as well go all in and try to land 2 top 5 picks. Also, it would lessen the blow if we got at least got 1 high pick instead of nothing.

One main factor for me would be John Wall. If find it almost impossible that the Rockets could trade him to the Heat, but if we could get rid of Wall, then I wouldn't want to gamble on Wiggins.

If we move Wall we will need that Wiggins contract to make the minimum payroll

It will cost us just like it cost GSW to move him. He is playable and we have a need at forward. He is a lot like the John Wall of forwards. I wanted to pair Wiggins with Harden for years. Maybe our new “Baby-Harden” can unlock him because the talent is there. We need his salary to make the minimum payroll because most of the team is on rookie contracts.

Not necessarily, we could get smaller contracts with different timelines. Those smaller contracts can be dealt with much more easily.

If surrounded by the right players, he could be very similar to Harrison Barnes when he played for GS. Golden State isn't really Golden State right now without Klay and Iggy.

Carl Landry was a better player than Aaron Gordon. I don’t think he’s good enough to put us over the top but he is good enough to frustrate our draft prospects. He’s a better rotation player than whoever we are using now at the three or five, but he is overpaid.

    2 different players.

Landry was not the switch defender that AG is. Nor was Landry even close to being the playmaker.

Rockets do not need more scorers or ball hogs around Porter-Wood.

Defense can only take you so far ala Oladipo. Do you think we are going to compete next year with Porter/ Aaron Gordon/Wood? Aaron Gordon won’t sign an extension without being overpaid again and we aren’t at that stage yet.
