Eric Gordon was key for us in the playoffs when we had great runs. And he's been a true professional.

that being said, I hope we get some assets for him.

Yep there not done. They can just trade the whole Dinwiddie contract which is 11.6 million and you add Shamet and Johnson to it plus a second rounder that can get you a pretty good piece in return. Dinwiddies contract also carries his bird rights which makes it even more attractive

if you guys want to the owner to have more money and not worry about his core businesses, doesn't that mean you got to Kemah every week or eat at joes?

the other owner just sold out to chinese interests because of the goodwill of yao, so he didn't have to give a damn about selling shrimp.

Unless a legit contender pulls off a blockbuster to try and lessen the gap against the nets, I don't see them trading. They really got into a groove before the AS break and post AS break is just fine tuning KD back in and seeing where Blake fits now in all of this. And just getting healthy and staying that way. At this point, the nets are just sharks in the water in the buyout market where they'll continue to be a popular destination with their open roster spots

They have their entire 9 million mid level exception to for the buyout market. Drummond might get bought out. Gives them size. Otto Porter junior might get bought out. Gives them length and a 3&D guy . Trevor Ariza will probably get bought out so that’s another option. I do think they will trade Dinwiddie. I doubt he will re-sign there given the lack of opportunities in the future.

yeah I expect Ariza to be there and probably another player from the buy out market. Dinwiddie has a legit 6th man reigns opportunity and spot starter if he comes back next year. If he wants more than, he'll be gone probably at some point

Tilman just sold nearly 50% interest in almost all of his businesses outside of The Rockets and casinos.

I don’t know why we’re so butt hurt about this. Even with Harden you were missing KD or Irving. Assuming Wall was one of your big three. KD never wanted to be here. It’s spilt milk at this point. I personally want to see them go ALL IN. Keep spending now! Please! We own their picks and at some point ala Miami that team has to fall apart.

Hopefully the moves he has done to diversify his interests during this down year make it where he’s less reliant on the economy. I want him to thrive so our Rockets can soar. Even if he’s not my favorite, he’s what we have, and the better he does financially the better the Rockets can be. He’d rather go broke than sell this team.

Don’t see Dinwiddie being happy with a sixth man role.Another team will offer him a bigger role somewhere

oh yeah, why be so butt hurt. you had a 65 win team that made it to the wcf vs a historic team. Instead of going all in, he immediately dismantled it in a mere span of 3 years. Oh LTS woohooo.

if you really don't know why, you're as clueless as dumbass Tilman. that goes for all the other few Tilman lovers out there that are left

Why didn't KD come to Houston anyway? There was certainly an opportunity for him to do so and he never even thought about it once. If people are going to be pissed about something, that's what I'd be pissed at. Clearly, Durant wanted to play with Harden but didn't want to do so in Houston. The disrespect towards the city is pretty clear.

Could be psychological. If Durant went to Houston, then he is joining Harden's team. Harden is the established star, and he is seen as a sort of outsider joining up, rather than a co-equal. This is the same thing he dealt with on the Warriors, where the fans never really embraced him in the same way as Curry, Thompson, and Green.

In New Jersey, they are all new players to the team, so they are kind of all on equal footing.

So now I’m a dumbass? Again, there was at no point a 3rd star joining Harden here. Harden had to go join them. We tried year after year. I get it, but she left you. It’s not you it’s her and she ain’t coming back. Look rebuilding is tough but so is always being a dollar short from being a champion.

I don't think we had the cap space to get him in 2018-2019. The only chance we had at Durant was squandered in 2016 when Howard and Harden beefed and we looked like garbage. If we had a successful season maybe Durant would have considered reuniting with Harden back then.
