You enjoy us winning regular season games?

Every team has to tank at some point to successfully rebuild. The Rockets weren't winning a chip with Harden running off every co-star and quitting. Crybaby

The Rockets stink in terms of talent . They are not tanking.as for Harden, he seems to be doing just fine in Brooklyn and might win a ring and a MVP as the main man of the Nets offense

Your ignorance is only matched by your ugliness.

And your grasp on reality is tenuous at best.

    Back to regularly scheduled programming.

EGo is the last vet I'd like to trade.

He would be great complement to Porter-Tate-Wood.

    Especially with his lockdown defense.

I'm the only person that mentioned Harden quitting and running off co stars? That's ignorant in itself

Trading everyone except Tate & Wood should be the plan.

Gordon for an expiring would be awesome for the team.

20mill in cap space lets us try hit on another Christian Wood.

Trading Wall though is real prize.

I agree that he'd be a good complimentary piece to that group .... but he just doesn't fit the timeline and the length of his contract is problematic.

Yes , it would be preferable to move Wall and Olidapo. But I think if the opportunity presents itself , you gotta move him .....

I believe we already have 20mill in cap space next season.
Moving Gordon for expiring opens up a max cap slot. There is no requirement to use that next season. We can be bad again for another year if needs be, or be a cheap development based around Wood/ KPJ and whomever we draft.

I would only keep Gordon if we can move Wall. But would not sacrifice a pick to dump Wall if I could move Gordon instead....

The key to a rebuild is to have the maximum number of avenues to get a star. We have draft capital to trade with; we have max cap space to either trade into or sign outright, and we have playing time available for development.

    We aren't in terrible shape

Tillman is probably soo excited to have 0 Max players. Probably will second guess any big contract now after CP3, Westbrook and Wall.

My one caveat is to add mason to the keepers. I trust in his work ethic and development. He is trying to play an entirely new style but he is a HARD worker and will get it down by next year. Plus he can shoot, we need shooters

    Edit—-oh and if possible-keep nwaba

Yep. Will Stone luck into the next Wood with the 20 M cap space? I admit I haven't made the effort to look at the UFA's that might be available with the next season. Can you please help me out here?

It's fascinating to see what an owner willing to go into the luxury tax can do for a team's title chances.

Tilman 2030: "I know we haven't had a max contract or a star player in 9 years, but that's because we're waiting on the right superstar to welcome into our Rockets family. I assure you I'll spend whatever it takes to bring a title to Houston."

And the Nets are not done. They still have their mid level exception for future buyouts ( one of Otto Porter junior or Drummond could possibly head there in case of a buyout) plus the 11 million dollar contract of Dinwiddie which carries his bird rights. You add some pieces like Johnson or Shamet and that’s like a 18 million bargining chip to add a hefty piece. Joe Tsai has no qualms about going into luxury tax

Chris is by far my favorite bear on fire

I still can’t believe some posters here defend Tilman and are oblivious to the facts

I would re-sign Nwaba and Sterling as well.
