He was the definition of brute force. The comparisons to Barkley were legit back then and their games aged the same as Griffin now has a jumper as his career is winding down. Maybe Barkley was a slightly better rebounder?

This move is easily good for the Nets.

Blake clearly isn't prime but 4th or 5th best player on a team = an absolutely awesome team.

They gave up no assets except money.

I also want to add to my previous reply that you clearly have some silly bias here... You list both the LeBron Heat AND the Lakers as "superteams" lol. Let alone the fact that the LeBron Heat weren't even as stacked as some of those historic superteams I listed, but the LeBron+Davis Lakers aren't even in the conversation. You need to take off the LeBron-hate glasses, brotato.

LOL, sensitive aren't we? You well know the running joke around here and your favorite players. Still, I did find your homophobic name rearrangement entertaining, so you get a like for it!

How would he good in the PnR if he has trouble finishing at the rim?

LMAO, had to look up brotato cause I’m old AF.

I believe I said I had a bias. My over arching point was super teams suck but I understand some of the points you make.

Not sure the Rockets formed a super team with an old Barkley and broken Pippen though.

Yeah thats fine superteams suck. But one of the worst is when 4 starters of a 73 win team who lost the finals came knocking and begging the clear best player of a team they just beat from behind after being down 3 to 1

The good thing about this nets team is the under appreciation they got. How the warriors never really accepted kd and how the rockets expected harden to drag a tank team year after year.

Prime Blake is Clippers Blake. He'll be remembered for his years there.

david west, deandre jordan, james harden, and blake griffin all players who had serious beef with cp3. Chris is a great player, but their is a pattern, now im hearing devin booker might want to go to the knicks

ESPN really has no shame talking about if Booker will force a trade to the Knicks in the future while his team is currently 2nd in the West and ballin...disgraceful

Barkley was a significantly better rebounder than Blake also a better scorer.

Blake is a better playmaker which makes this signing even more crazy. How do you stop the Nets now?

Especially when Durant can inbound plays up to 3 yards out of bounds. Completely unstoppable.
