McHale btw ALSO made the WCF, probably with a less talented roster. is the idea Fertitta treated MDA bad cause he didn’t give him an extension? Why does every have to be given an extension all of a sudden to be respected? Or because he lowballed the next offer or was going to? Well MDA was free to find a new job as there were opportunities. Looks like he’s an assistant now and not a HC.

His achievements with the Rockets are also much more notable He was unprofessional and disrespectful of the work Mike had put in. You don’t put in stipulations like you did and you don’t even bother to call Mike after the playoffs. The way this organization treated him was a joke.

Did CP3 get one? min fine with the only person deserving of a tribute video from Hardens era.... being Harden. there’s a HUGE gulf between Rudy and MDA. There’s barely any gap between MDA and the next 3 coaches. I like MDA... I just don’t think the last 4 years is deserving of a tribute video. but that’s just me.
That is indeed just you. And thats wrong. You can say he doesnt deserve a video but to say there is barely any gap between those other three coaches is insulting.
it’s not insulting lol. He has 24 more wins and 2 more WCF wins than McHale had. Did I like McGale as a coach? Not really. But he had a worse team that basically went as far. Rudy T had like 300 more wins plus 2 championships. so factually, the difference between Rudy and everyone else is huge and the difference between MDA and McHale is not very big in terms of results.
that way we can at least have a chance at championship if we draft well....we can be real contenders ... mda was just a mediocrity threadmill not really contending

Top 4 team or better EVERY SINGLE SEASON HE WAS ROCKETS HC is NOT the mediocrity treadmill. Harden was also a top MVP candidate or frontrunner under MDA. COTY, EOTY, MVP were all accomplished under MDA. Rockets were at least top 3 offense, but more often historically great offense under MDA. 2 of 4 postseasons, MDA had top 10 defense. 1 season Rockets were the #1 defense in playoffs. Is everyone going crazy on CF???? This board is all aboard on tanking in the HOPE that Rockets even sniff that level of consistent success again.
