This was a great sales pitch. Stone should send this to Thibs as part of his negotiations.

Any deal should include Mitch Robinson. I think he and Wood can play together. I think Wood can play the 4/5 with Mitch. That would be a dynamic front court for years to come

I sill believe in a VO - Barrett/Toppin deal. The Knixies can sell him on staying and outbid The Heat, if necessary.

At ‘worst’ Riles can fear MSG and ante up directly to TheGoodGuys.

    Bid, gents, bid!

It’s nice to agree with you. Mitch is much quicker than Allen and possibly even quicker than Wood, it’s actually a very good fit.

No I was speaking independently of that, as there are some Rockets fans who understandably have seen how poor Oladipo has been most of his time here and think just shipping him out now for a second would be worth it. I think by the time the deadline comes we will see his true worth of those around him are healthy.

Impressive numbers until I looked and saw that trio has played only 53 minutes total over only 3 games and it was against OKC, NO and an injury decimated POR team.

That artificial window dressing win streak was pretty much against those kind of opponents. Bad teams combined with Cov19 hit suspensions

I gotcha. I definitely agree trading him at his max value is smart. I would deal him now, though, if they got a package they felt good about. If you can get a first and a young player, that should be the goal, but I'm not sure if anyone is going to offer that.

well I’m not suggesting he’s going to be averaging an 8:1 assist to turnover ratio for the season. I’m just explaining why I think he has been set up to fail. He can’t work in an offense by himself and never has been able to his entire career with the exception of one season. But he wouldn’t have to if we had Wall and Wood healthy, and he wouldn’t have to in a place like Miami

No to Frank and the seconds.

Doesn't fit our timeframe and isn't enough.

At the end of the day, Vic is worth a couple of firsts....he IS expiring with bird rights.

Two firsts? I doubt it. One of New York's firsts, and maybe a second.

I would take expiring and Dal pick from NYK for Dipo in a second. Don't think NY does it though.

I agree, the pleasure of being able to cut the line and sign Dipo isn't going to be very lucrative. There's just not a lot of time left for him to sway front offices. I'd be happy with the lesser of the Knicks pick + expirings.
