But since then, all Ego has done is sqwuak every drive.... he was rubbish the following 2 seasons, and if he goes for expirings we get max contract space in the off-season

What is your opinion of trading Gordon (2 years after this one because no all-star), Tucker, and + (maybe Detroit 1st) for Wiggins and Minny pick? The move could bring serious LTS relief for GSW and Wiggins is backsliding. GSW wants to win now and will get Klay back next year and it gives them further flexibility and insurance for Klay. At this point the Minny pick is still two years away.

If Stone moves Gordon, Tucker, and Oladip, he will have Sam Presti looking up to him as a mentor.

I would do it, but I don't think that Golden State would.

I wouldnt call being the second best player on the two succeeding playoff runs as sqwuak. Lets not be blind about that. Every playoff win was because EG played a big part to it. I dont care much about regular season numbers coz im not a boxscore guy. He has proven he can be a meaningful contributor in the playoffs. Thats what matters to me.

I would be happy with just ending contracts for gordon and wall.

vic, because his contract isn't a negative, should net us a first from a playoff team.

PJ won't get us anything. only contenders are interested and they know to wait for the buyout. if none of them offer anything at the deadline then pj and his agent will push for the buyout. I'd see if I can use his ending contract paired with Exum to take on bad salary for a pick or two. might be the only way to extract any value from him at the deadline.

I honestly think you’d have to add oladipo and Oubre and the warriors would likely do it. They’re currently in the play in and about to lose another year of Curry and draymond. This trade gives them a chance to compete this year and then be stacked for next year as well. The core rotation would be

    Curry
    Oladipo/Gordon
    Thompson
    Draymond/Tucker
    Wiseman

Isn’t that pick top 4 protected? And given the wolves are going to stink it’s not as valuable as it seems

I think it’s possible they give it up. If it’s not conveyed this year and it goes to 2022 there is a real chance that the wolves are a lot better next year since they’ve been without KAT Dlo and Beasley literally the whole season. I think KAT and dlo have played like 5 games together since the trade. Couple those three with edwards and some decent role players a newly hired finch and some exceptions to throw at established vets, that pick may not be as good as it seems. Add to the fact that waiting on this pick to develop into a feasible NBA player on a cxhampionship team likely means you waste away Curry dray and Thompson.

I honestly think the pick is available but for the right cost. I think if the warriors can’t get a stud wing back in the mold of a Aaron Gordon/siakam/Collins/warren + turner/etc they could do a lot worse than 2 wings in Gordon and oladipo that are good catch and shooters that play hard nosed defense and a guy like Tucker who gives them the option to go small with shooting.

The wolves picks are usually coveted like gold because the Wolves are never good.

Just want Stone to get it done already. Ditto for Gordon. I need young guys to invest my time on, get to know, get to like, get to see play. It just takes a lot of my interest out right now knowing many of them are going elsewhere.

Top 3 protected this year and unprotected next year so you are right not as valuable to Warriors but incredibly valuable to us.

Agreed but we wouldn't be in the tax anyway with our moves.

    NO WAY to Wes Matthews.

Lakers just trying to off load their trash.

    I feel disrespected.
