    Trump is a conman. His capital insurrectionists are his true loyal soldiers who know no better. When Trump said he loved them, he meant it. Imagine someone risking their lives for you. For someone like Trump who needs boosting to his ego, it feels like being in heaven. Addictive and powerful. For these Trump loyalists - they will pay a dear price yet the person conning them and edging them on is not just a free man, but one that can again run for President thanks to cowardice and a very deluded base.

    Massive delusion on display for history. But @Os Trigonum think it's no big deal ;)

    Yes. Chansley is a criminal and deserves to to be punished for what he did but it's people like him who are suffering the consequences while those who led and incited people like him are avoiding many penalties.
