Nope, it's really not that important. Gonna stop taking away from the thread. it should not matter anyway your mind is already made up.
All of this simply because I expressed an opinion that I think Curry is capable of leading the Warriors to the playoffs, while pointing that it's not a prediction about what will happen. And you complain over and over about how I can possibly think that half-way through the season. I don't know what to make out of that. It's like you're projecting some vague viewpoint onto me I never expressed, but are unwilling to spell out clearly what it is. It's good that you're dropping this, finally.
Curry went from ridiculously overrated to comically underrated -- his numbers are very good this season, but he obviously requires a stronger supporting cast than other stars to move his team out of the middle of the pack.
I don't think he is underrated, its only a few people who can't see the talent. I don't think he ever should have been in the best player in the world category.
I finally located the original post that you must have been referencing: How can I say that mid-way through the season? Why the hell not? I think he can do it, meaning he's capable of doing it, based on what I know about him and not to mention where the team is at right now. Whether it will actually happen or not by season's obviously remains to be seen. I continue to not get why you had a problem with that. You are the only one in this thread who found fault with it, as far as I'm aware. Maybe you misread it as me making a more definitive statement. There's a big difference between "I think he can" and "He can and will".
I honestly don't know whether your take about CP3 is correct or not. I too have never been a CP3 fan, but I have a lot of respect for his game. Anyway, I have been saying a few times in this thread. Whether a player can carry a bunch of scrub is not really an important question. We know that no player can carry a bunch of scrubs to a championship. So what's the point? The more important question is whether they guy can lead a talented team to a championship. Curry has already done that. Harden didn't have a real shot at it. (His best shot at a championship was 2012 with OKC. But he wasn't the alpha then.) Now playing with Durant and Irving is his chance. Let's see how he does.
Why are you still yapping? You really are that guy, trying to bait me into still having a back and forth, I'm done with you. be gone!
Who are you to say what is an important question or not? No Curry has not done that, he has not been the best player during any of those championship runs hence Iguadola and Durrant getting those championship MVP's. Why is everyone now trying to move goalpost? It's ok if you want to believe that's what is important but don't come in here telling anybody what's "important"
Curry was easily the best player on the Warriors' first championship team. Don't let your hate blind you to this universally accepted fact. It's probably a response to your ever-moving goalposts. He's right though. Who cares if a superstar can carry a bunch of scrubs to the playoffs if they have no hope of winning a title? What does that prove? Absolutely nothing. It seems like you're forgetting that the goal is to win a title.
Ah, the gif response. The hallmark of someone whose been argued into submission but is too proud to admit he's wrong.
Irony. LOL. You started this thread. So you must want to tell everybody this is a very important question. Who are you?
I don't think you know what irony is. I never said it was an important question you were dude trying to tell everyone what is important. why do care who I am?
