Rotation for next season... Wall/KPJ Gordon/Nwaba Tate/House AG or Collins/KJ Wood I’d like to see them bring Brown or Nwaba back and they would have to address back up 5 in the draft or FA. If Gordon continues his strong play then maybe they could trade him and House at next year’s deadline.
Bamba is stretch 5 in traditional 5's body. Neither Bradley or Timelord are 4's either. Rather prioritize AG, Collins, MPJ or Nance right now than offseason. We have the assets now IMO.
At this point games are unwatchable. Bring us some hope. Trade out the vets and get some youth for us to at least look for small victories within the games. I would love to watch young players develop instead of vets quiting.
Also, IF somehow we were to acquire John Collins, we want to do it as late as possible so we can keep losing as many games as possible.
A few trades all in 1. I think we stay "bad" enough to still get a top 4 pick, but remain hopeful going into next season. https://tradenba.com/trades/QIURE7hN- Trade 1. Heat get Oladipo Rockets get Iggy and Precious Trade 2. Nuggets get PJ and Ben Mclemore Rockets get RJ Hampton and Nuggets 2021 FRP Trade 3. 6ers get Iggy and House Rockets get Danny Green and Matisse Thybulle Trade 4. Hawks get Precious, Eric Gordon, 2021 FRP from Nuggets, 2021 protected FRP from Detroit via Houston, 2022 FRP from Milwaukee via Houston Houston gets John Collins and Tony Snell Actually trades 1, 2 and 4 could all be a 4 way trade. Starting line up Wood/Hampton KPJ/Thybulle Tate/Nwaba Collins/KJ Martin Wood/Patton Waive Green. Give Collins all the money in the offseason. Draft Cade. (If the Nuggets giving up RJ and the first is a bit much, just leave RJ out of the trade. Money still works).
I feel like the Rox leaked the Dipo extension rejection to let Collins' agent know... this is what we were prepared to pay
Offered Dipo extension. He declined. Collins is a free agent this summer (looking for max or near max $ apparently) - which is why Hawks looking to trade him. Scuttlebutt Rox would try to trade for him. Offering the contract to Dipo IMHO is a way of saying this is what Rox are willing to offer ANYBODY who is looking for a free agent deal next year.
